Here is my teams Apple Insomnia Film Festival submission. Go check it out, tell me what you think, and vote for us.
P.S. I think you need an Apple ID to vote, so if you don't have one, click here to get one.
Edit: It appears you also have to register at the Insomnia Film Festival, after you get your Apple ID. Were it asks your school/university, if you don't go to one, put down your favorite (says so in the FAQ). What a pain.

I liked it, but found it a bit confusing.
<SPOILERS>
For a bit I thought the ash was snow (winter is in the title, so you cant blame me), so when he said it was sunny, that confused me until I figured it out. Didn't figure out it was nuclear war until he said mankind has destroyed itself. (was thinking reactor meltdown) I'm assuming the flash was another explosion (this also confused me before I realized it was a war, not just a meltdown, was trying to figure out why it would explode again), but it never really faded, so I wasn't sure. And it didn't cast shadows, but I can't blame you for that.

That was great! I loved it!
Unfortunately, as I am not of the full legal age yet, I cannot vote. Sorry.

I thought your film was great! Emotion level could be higher, however the technical aspects were superb. Good placement of camera and good intercutting!
Didn't think to much of the first film..."A penny earned" poorly executed, and not much to it.

Well done, though kind of weak on the story side. Though the visuals certain make up for it.

I really liked the way ShadowDuelist incorporated some of the required material. It was difficult to choose which ones would be best in that amount of time. I'd like to know, why did your team pick the three you did?
Edit: Oh, and as much as I would like to take credit for alot of this, when I say I was on the crew, really all I did was come in as a script consultant(sort of) after it was written and help herd extras. Oh, and the blood. I got to put the blood on people.

I hate to say it, but the story more evolved from the elements (mainly the bird cage and bench) then us incorporating elements into a story. And I can only take credit for editing together about a third of the movie and a couple of story ideas.

We were lucky. We had an idea for a possible story before we began, and luckily it was possible to put in three that worked. It really would have sucked if there were things that completely threw us off. Again, luck.

Cool idea and well executed, and it made me laugh, which isn't easy. Well done!
