I think all the effects were a bit over-saturated since it was a day-time duel with bright environments, but otherwise, you did a great job, Ben.
Other than that, where the heck did "you slept with my ...." go?

(I notice you shoot with filters for your projects, even if it's a UV, take it off, or clean the lens. That's the main thing that makes your work look amateur.
No filters were used in the making of this film. This was before we found out we could change the settings on our DVX100B. It was slightly color graded though, to get rid of that annoying blue tint that was with the original. And I figured music from the Order of the Phoenix video game would suit this new cut better than Transformers. :-p

People complained too much of the dialogue so we cut it all out except for, "What the hell was that?" and, "Damn." :-)

Then clean the lens before filming. If you did, yeah, I would 86 that camera as it's lens is all messed up.

Director's Cut at the beginning was missing the apostrophe s.
Like some others said it's really washed out. The effects are okay. Sounds were good. I'm so glad you took out all that stuff about the guy screwing the other guy's whole family.
The entire Order of the Phoenix soundtrack, eh?

oh my God. It's amazing how much a simple thing like some flashing lights can change a film. i thought it was great this time around, the original cut I couldn't even finish watching a few months back. No offense. 
great job, though. you might want to grade some of the shots though. was this shot in dv or hd?

I remember voting on this contest back when the films were originally submitted, and hoping that you would indeed go ahead and make your re-edited cut. It didn't disappoint! I agree with the changes regarding dialogue removal, and I love the effects (both visual and aural). Congratulations to all involved -- you made a film that not only holds the audience's attention, but is also entertaining. Well done! I'm looking forward to what you do for the next one.
