Yes, yes - to Justin and Whispering Death you must listen!
He should pause for a beat after hearing the insurance bit, then pull out his blaster, shoot both of them and ask something like "what kind of a deal did you get on your life insurance?"
yep, that's some funny stuff!
Go Get 'em, Durb! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

RE: Advice on my Atom Films entry
Thank you JediMasterBuck, that's very kind!
BTW, what caused your past entries to not make it in? Why are you being so careful this time around?
Nothing in particular. But, I've seen what's been accepted before. I've seen what they make people change. And, I've seen what they've rejected.
So, I'm using that as a guideline to make an entry that is right along their lines.
This is why I thought that the trooper gunning everyone down might be crossing the line. But, now that I see it being discussed as the best option, I'm starting to sway back that way - just in a real PG fashion.
And, yeah, it needs a tagline page. And, Mike has supplied a Gecko, so, Hank's idea may come in there too...

Pretend I'm Fig. A hot and sexy Fig.
Pretend? What's to pretend? Me being hot and sexy, or you being me?
Or you being hot and sexy?

RE: Advice on my Atom Films entry
I thought it was funny, but it does need an extra punch-line. I do, however, think the blaster thing is going to far.
I don't know if this is funny, it kind of isn't but . . .
Maybe the clone could say "Well is that green frog accepting work?" And in walks Yoda from right and the Geico gecko from left. Yoda says "Take him, I will" gecko says "no, I'll take him" Yoda pulls his lightsaber out but then the Gecko does the same. They both jump at each other. Then end it.
Actually its not that funny nevermind.

I think something with Yoda and the gecko is funny. Add that to make it longer. Maybe have Jango's ghost appear? Or have the trooper just shoot himself to end the suffering.

You KNOW I'm hot and sexy, Figgles.
Anyway, yeah, I thought about Yoda berating the lizard in some way too. Now that would be funny.

It was pretty funny, just don't give it away with the title...
Also, was the ending credits music from Mantra? It sounded just like it...

What would be cool, albeit a little illogical, is make another one. Geico ads like that almost always come in pairs since they play two 15 second spots in a 30 timeslot.
I think a parody of the caveman ads with clones would be funny.

I don't know why everyone is so negative. I actually have a pretty good feeling about this.

Well, it would have been a lot better if you didn't call it a Geico commercial spoof. The thing that makes those commercials amusing is because you usually don't see it coming.

A way around the violence might be to just imply it by showing the clone shooting and not the Kamino aliens getting hit.

Right... Which is how I already have the sequence done.
So, I have the basics of it. But, there is more to add to it. I have lots of good ideas from reading through this thread. Although, sorry to say, none of them involve the Death Star.

You don't need to parody the caveman commercials--those are hilarious.

I think a clone walking around in full armor wearing a robe with a glass of cognac saying that line would be great.

Okay. I've got it! I know what I'm going to do!!
Only I'm not going to tell everyone about it here.
But, rest assured, the conversation in this thread has help steer me in the right direction.
I hope I make you all proud.
Thank you all for your input!
