    //Smacks Azionite.

    Okay. It's done. I've been working on this thing for far longer than I expected to. grin But, all the elements are in place now, and it's on it's way to Atom Films for submission.

    //crosses fingers.

    Final version of Atom Films entry

    Thank you guys for the input on this. Some of you will see that I did indeed incorporate your ideas. And, the final version will have a credit for that.

    Hope you enjoy it!!

    just made me think of something durb:

    a spoof commercial of a rebel trooper behind a desk saying something like "Switch to the Rebellion. It's so easy even a wookiee could do it." Then pan to the camera crew and a wookiee holding the boom, he growls and storms off. The rebel trooper says "I didn't see you there!", fade to mock geico/rebellion logo.

    no? hmm...ok...

    Good luck, Durb! Obviously alot of work went into that and I hope it pays off for ya!

    Like the ending better than the first and glad you incorporated the gecko in there somewhere.

    I'm not familiar what you're spoofing, but the voices and animation are great!

    EDIT: Clarification

    I guess you don't have TV where you live 8^O .

    It spoofs the Geico Insurance ads.

    Very nice Durb! I think the Clonetrooper should have fired in to the camera (something with that shot doesn't match up for me) but I am nit-picking.

    Great spoof! The Gecko is a nice touch.

    But it should be green, you're not gonna get in trouble for having a green gecko, and the joke is lost if it's purple.

    I'm kinda late in the game here and just skimmed over the thread. Though you didn't go the route, I do Hank's line: "Aeiko policies not honored in the event of planetary destruction by the galactic empire." laugh

    Great stuff durb. I like it happy

    Just so you guys know, 4 of the folks active in this thread got a mention in the credits of the film. Even though I didn't use anyone's ideas directly, it was this discussion that spawned the idea I finally used. So, braxtonFilm, JediMasterBuck, MKane, and shadow_the_rebel all are listed.

    Those people specifically said something that jarred the idea.

    And, let me say thank you here, once again for the push in the right direction. I am SO much happier with the final result of the film than I was in it's first run.

    The new final version will be running on my site until Atom Films posts all the finalists.

    Wish me luck!!
