Ok guys, it's time to announce the 2nd annual Wand Duel Competition (now abbreviated WDC for convenience)

Date:
1st of November 2008 till the 1st of May 2009.
I think 6 months is sufficient, and it will encourage those with not much time at the moment to get an entry together a bit later on.

Rules:
1.Entries should be no longer than 10 minutes including titles and credits.
2.Entries should be uploaded to this YouTube account before 11:59:59 EST. Entrants should send an email to ben@aurellia.net or drop me a private message, and I will give you the login details. This saves me having to download and re-upload videos. (if you think this idea is bad, we'll change it to people upload it somewhere for me to then download and upload to YouTube)
3.Entries must be previously unreleased.
4.Most importantly, have fun. If you don't your entry will suck balls...

Visual effects isn't required, but as we saw last year it looks silly if they aren't there (No offense Harrison, haha)

A mod should talk about some voting options. Maybe a hosted page?

I would like another 2 or 3 people to volunteer to be judges.
If anybody has any suggestions for improvements or wants to be a judge, just post them below and I'll get a moderator to edit this first post.

A poll is a VERY bad idea. If there is to be an audience element, you should find a mod to whom PMs can be sent. This way, the mod can also check for socks voting

I reccomend changing the title of the thread so you can actually have the words "wand duel competition" in there somewhere, and if you want put WDC II in parentheses or something. I clicked on this thread by chance, I had no actual clue what it was at first.

Well seeing as I definitly wouldn't be able to start until next year at the earliest...if I get the time I "might" throw something (short) together...


I've got 2 major projects I'm working on at the moment so yah we'll see how those go...


But if you're still looking for judges and I don't enter one, sign me up!
