It was an interesting casting choice, but the actual photoshoppery was only decent.

Eh, I'm not particularly proud of the Photocraft, and the casting is only partially mine; Reeves is supposedly already signed.

I might redo the whole thing by hand, Scanner style. But this is the preliminary.

EDIT: Ya gotta admit, though, photocraft aside, 12 year-old Natalie Portman would make an awesome Ed.

Does anyone else here not care about sports in any way? My coworkers always assume because I am a guy that I watch football, and I do not. I have nothing against people who like sports, I just wish they wouldn't assume because I am male that I also too must have an interest in sports. It could also be the fact that everyone in Alabama is obsessed with football, because God knows there isn't much else going on around here.

I love football... Real football, not armored pass with a ball that's not even shaped like a ball... Also love golf. I've also been known to watch hockey every now and then.

As for playing, I love golf, though I really suck at putting. And I used to be able to kick a ball across almost an entire field, and make a goal... Haven't been on a field in a long time though, so I'm not sure how great of a shot I'd be now. I also like playing tennis.

Sports are the shiznit. And I was talking about the Titans, the only college I actually follow is the UF Gators since my gal is down there in the Swamp. Tennis is my favorite sport to play and watch, followed closely by Hockey and Football. Not too big a fan of baseball but my Yanks seem to be doing well. You just haven't found your sport Pixel!

By image do you mean the phone's hard drive, pictures on the hard drive, or live, real-time capture of the camera?

What model of Nokia phone?

My bet would be a firm "no". Some phones will allow you to transfer media files via bluetooth, but over USB is rare unless you have the right driver. Good luck finding a driver if it even exists. As far as viewing the cell phone's main screen on the computer, that's an even firmer "no". Unless you tap directly into the printed cable going to the LCD and have a driver or program to translate it, it won't happen. That kind of data was never meant to be ported through a USB connection. Thus, the firmware doesn't allow for it.

I'm guessing the LCD is broken and you're needing something off the device but can't see what's happening with it. Close?

Those, and can the phone accept a micro-SD card? Not everyone realizes that's a memory-upgrade option, and I thought Nokia had embraced that feature.

It is largely accurate to say I don't care about sports. But there are some exceptions.

- I can enjoy a baseball game… there is an elegance, a mathematical balance of sorts to it I appreciate… and I also like how it ties in with city identity and history/nostalgia and all sorts of side things like that. As a Yankees fan, I have been avidly watching this postseason, rushing home from work to turn on the TV.

- I love boxing movies. The perfect metaphor. But would never think to attend an actual match or watch one on TV.

- I don't like football at all, it's a sport I just cannot sit through, but I like watching the Super Bowl commercials and I am happy to root for the Northwestern Wildcats. (Screw pro football. I can't even root for the New York teams because they play in Jersey.)

- Roller derby seems pretty cool.

- I like some of the Olympics events.

I'm not really into sports - I watch the SuperBowl for the commercials. I do, however, enjoy cheerleader movies. And, with the right people doing commentary in my living room, sumo wrestling can be hilarious.

Shifting gears, did anyone else catch V last night? A decent enough, albeit predictable, start to the series. Maybe it wouldn't be so predictable if I hadn't spent the whole weekend watching the originals on Sci-Fi. (Don't want to give anything away that might spoil those of you who are watching it on Hulu tonight.)

On that note: Hulu desktop is now the center of my pathetic shell of a life. nerd

I've only seen one cheerleader sports movie that did it for me, the vastly underrated "Bring it On".

I have seen a few other cheerleader movies but not so much sports as other forms of physical recreation. tongue
