Thank you, thank you for the comments!
Yeah the pacing was the tricky thing... as it was a full secuence without cuts I almost jump through a window doing it... but thankfully it pays off in the end. Special mention to my (almost)new computer who did the previs job relatively fast.

You can found it here:

Yes, that's a good point... happy

I only get the one pass for doing the panel, but will keep an eye out for opportunities...

....yeah if anyone hears of new passes being sold let me know!

Also do any of you guys know of a good place to get a Talent Release form or do I just need to hit the internet and grab one?

Talked to atom.com and they don't hand out talent release forms.

Ironically, they definitely used to have one on their site. Here is the (slightly modified) text of THEIR FORM as I have it on my hard drive.

RELEASE

On my own behalf, and on behalf of my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, I hereby release ________________, his agents, licensees, successors and assigns, from any and all claims, liabilities and damages arising out of the rights granted hereunder, or the exercise thereof.

Isn't the AtomFilms contest for parodies only? Or am I thinking of something else?

At some point in the last coupla years it has expanded to include the more straightforward projects.

I imagine by this point, it is safe to assume that if we have not heard from atom...our submission was not accepted. Does anyone have any official leads on anything?

I'm two things right now. First, I am in Denial. Second, I am having a hard time believing only two people from this forum have been accepted.

On the 10th, Atom Films emailed me and said that all the finalists would be notified within the next 2 weeks, so that leaves roughly 9 more days per their word. As far as I am concerned, until I see the posting for the 2009 finalists, anything goes.

The only lead I have is they told me my contract and all other release forms had to be in by the 17th or else my film wouldn't be in the competition. I just finished today and it isn't easy getting all that done. Stressed me out!

I know this sounds horrible and I know how much work you guys put into your projects. Films flat out aren't easy to make! .... but if you don't make it this year, resubmit next year. I'm living proof it works! Three years ago I made this thing and was rewarded with a rejection letter. The next year I submitted and nothing, this year I didn't even submit it and they finally said I'm in. Have no idea why? Maybe different people see different things and this group or reviewers liked what I did and the other group thought it was crap. People just see different things I guess.

Maybe sometimes they already have a group of films they are going to use even before the deadline for submission ends and everything else gets pushed to the next year? That is my brothers view.

But...it isn't over yet and Atom still might be sending out acceptance letters. I hope so!
