Spazweez, I really thought you were taking home Best Parody, thought that was in the bag for you. I wish I would have met more at the competition. I got there a little late and my brother wanted to get an audience perspective on the competition and hear what they were saying about the films. That was pretty cool. When they called our film, I was pretty much useless after that. Feels like my mind just turned off.
Thank you Trey and Madhorizons for the kind words and you are right Trey....sometimes it just takes a little extra time.

I've started on my next project and want to continue progressing from the "Once upon a Time" video a made for my brother's wedding (down at bottom of page if you want to check it out) Want to improve with liquid, character, particle animation and tell a more character centered story this time around. Have no idea how long it will take, might be ready end of next year. Rendering takes forever. Getting more comfortable lighting the animated scenes.
Not going to be Star Wars but it will be a character driven 5 minute fantasy adventure.
Doing something with Olivia would be fun and $5000.00 is a solid budget for a short film. somebody is going to have a kick ass short film. Having Olivia in your film can't hurt your resume either. She is a very talented lady.
Got so sunburned waiting outside for 2 hours plus for seats in hall h. Missed Disney but saw everything after that. Cameron and Jackson were fun to see. Two completly different types. Cameron is very electric while Jackson seems more withdrawn. The chemistry between the two didn't seem to mesh that well.
Thought it was funny when Jackson was asked what he would dress up as at Comic Con. He said a Stormtrooper so nobody would see him. That way he could buy all the cool collectibles on the floor. Cameron said he would dress up as Peter Jackson and sign off on a bunch of movie deals.

Congratulations to all the winners, it was very well deserved. The Fan Film awards ceremony had a flare of magic to it. However, I believe Olivia Munn's characterization during Comic Con was an absolute embarrassment to Lucasfilm and the Star Wars franchise. I believe an intelligent personality who has some class would serve to enhance the Star Wars brand.

What can I say? I´m flattered! All the positive reviews, comments and support, I´m really happy! Waiting for the big box with the trophy
I feel honored, the animation entries were pretty high quality this year - Sudden Remakes/Cinemagic/Wampa/Vader trial)
The only downside.. i´m a little tormented for not having been there that night.. but well...
Anyway, congratulations to the winners and finalist!
There was not much to do against Saber... two hot girls/two trophies... glad they didn´t cast more!
The video is cool and it shares the new Atom "vibe"/same audience so... didn´t hurt.
Retold is really funny, and gladly it has a nice audience on youtube.
Cinemagic really has the Spirit of Fandom, fit perfectly, Sports is a fresh approach, Dysfuntion is a little hard for me because as we know my english is not that good!
I really miss a VFX award... Death Star over San Francisco deserve more recognition, it is a really fine piece of composition/tracking work.
I have found some bits of video on youtube already...

Btw, thanks to Joe(Guybrush) and spazweez for their kindness (and the extra info about the awards)
