TFN and Scott Zeir are proud to present Reciprocity...

"After the end of the Clone Wars…

The Inquisitors, created by the Senate, hunt the galaxy during the great purge of the Jedi. Bound by duty, yet controlled and manipulated by the Sith, they are efficient and expendable. One such Inquisitor, Soontar, struggles with his own morality and that of his partners after several seemingly unnecessary terminations are ordered. Inquisitor trainer and current Sith Apprentice, Darth Rann, is sent to investigate the pair." More...

Unfortunately I have to go record some dialogue for my project here, so I won't be able to edit this post...

I'm on cable and am downloading it now. But it'll take like 1.5 hours since it's only going like 25 kb/sec. Oh, well, I'll bet it's because a lot of other people are probably downloading this now.

I dont know what to watch first. Reciprocity or the AOTC dvd. THERE BOTH SO GREAT I can't decide!

Edit: I know that the dvd came out several days ago but I haven't had a chance to get it.

Well, I downloaded it and ran it through the Divx Validator (I'm onna' Mac).

First off, Congrats to Scott Zier, the Zier Clan and friends of Scott. The movie is a big achievement considering it's length. It's hard to make a movie that'll keep your interest.

I liked Reciprocity. It had a coherant story that didn't seem forced or was full of plot holes. It attempted humor, drama and, of course action, even trying to delve into the horrors of senseless slaughter.

It's funny; I write movie reviews for a local paper, yet, I don't feel too good about writing one here because, well, to be honest, TAC will do a more thorough job than I will. And what also stops me is the usual nitpicks everyone else will have, thus, I don't want to make them.

Instead, I think I'll just say that Reciprocity has some great moments, good saber choreography and cool VFX during the fights. Though the acting, sound (yes, sound) and pacing of the movie could be improved, Reciprocity is a fine film to added to the list of movies in the TFN library.

Let me also add this question: Were those Star Trek Sound effects I heard or am I going crazy?

I will be posting my full review in a few hours.
I'm anxious to see if the film lives up to all of the recent hype. wink

I thought it was pretty good overall. One thing I was a bit displeased in was the blatent copying of Final Fantasy (the movie) lines. Aside from a few minor audio issues, it was a dandy movie.

Some pretty good moments in this film. I like the vision, though it suffers from lackluster acting on the part of the supporting cast, poor sound mixing (I couldn't hear the dialogue half the time because the music was so loud, and when I did ... it wasn't very well recorded), and some CGI that looks more like a video game than a film.

Still, it was worth the download.

I found it enjoyable, even though as mentionned above the pacing could be better, and the audio is a bit hard to catch. Also, the first location with the army guys are too earth-looking...

I thought the full CG shots were really good, but that the blending of CG and live action could have been tweaked some more. Oh well, it was still very watchable.

I think the storyline is the strongest point of this movie. You've got a nice character with a conflict. That's always a good recipe for an interesting story.
