Boy, I wish I had a digital camera now. I'd show you guys how humble my set-up is. Computer on the floor, monitor on top of the computer, beanbag chair for seating... Heh. None of this Ikea-catalog desk stuff... happy

I'm po', but I don't let it stop me from being a damn filmmaker! cool

I've been in such a creative frame of mind I really need to clean my computer area. DVD+Rs everywhere, and I don't recall what's on them; keep tripping over the wire to my headset. Organization skills not paid attention to. But the Lemonade drink with ginseng is good for the creative mind right now.

Updated photos. Studio gets used for music, video editing, compositing, 3d animation, website design, vocal recording etc. Of course I still need to build some bass traps to tame the sound.

I've also uploaded a couple of blue screen photos. I just pinned this up on the dining/living room wall last night. It's 5.3m wide, but the photo with me in it should be a good indication of the actual size. There's also an aerial shot of the space from above. Of course I need more fabric to cover the floor and some proper lighting. Unfortunately the fabric no longer seems to be available as I'd bought it a year ago. These photos were taken during the day, but I'll only be using it at night to avoid the mismatched natural light.

Yet again my setup gets upgraded happy Well, you'll notice it's more of a trade-in. We lost the TV (brother's friend is borrowing it since his roomate with the TV moved out) and the microwave. The TV wasn't being put to use much anymore anyway, and the microwave wasn't usable around the computers so yeah...But I looooooooooove my NEW toy cool

Hehe, yeah I love my Wacom Tablet. That's the Graphire3 there. The Graphire4 is out now, 4x5 is $99, and the price goes from there; wacom.com.

Exactly what IS a wacom tablet... does it basically just let you control whats on the screen as if you were drawing it on? rather than moving a mouse?

The monitors get nicer as you move right to left...

Edit
What would be the best way to transfer data from the Mac to your PC and back, At first I thought the removable HD but wouldn't you have to format that?

NTFS formatting if just Windows to Mac, but if you want Mac to Windows, you'll need a FAT formatted drive.

Firewire cables work as well if you've got it set up right. Easy to work with and has a sweeeet transfer rate. grin

My little corner. This setup is actually about to get totally re-worked... Not so much in the gear, but in the location and design.
