A mildly suped-up Sony Viao PC with 2 external hard drives (one 80GB, the other 500GB), Adobe Premiere 6.0, Adobe Audition 1.5, Adobe After Effects 5.0, Adobe Photoshop 7.0, EffectsLab DV... with a decent LCD monitor and lots of geek relics to surround me. Not too fancy or overly expensive. It works.

Well, for what it's worth...here she is. I'm a little short on space so it's not as efficiently organized as I'd like, but it does the job.

Workstation...

For the final product...

I posted a pic of my set up in here back a ways, but it has recently gotten a boost so I think I will post the updated version.

Dual monitors, one old compaq crt and a new acer 19 incher. Just a simple decent 2.1 sound system. Computer specs are as follows. 3.2Ghz cpu, 1gig of DDR400, Radeon 9800 Pro 256MB graphics card, and a total of 600GB of HD space (1 120gig external, 300 and 180gig internals. The only thing not shown is the HDR-HC1 with which I took these pics.

A nice improvement from this:

Oops, I almost forgot one of the most important components.

The real workhorse of the whole set up.

Damn, dosn't your computer heat up between the two desks or whatever?
Dosn't look like it's got a healthy airflow.

It seems to keep quite cool. There are no vents on the sides of the case so I don't think it would make a difference anyway.

Man, my set-up compares to nothing with most of you. But, alas, The Lair of Semi.

That is my set up from one view.

Here you can see my new computer that is friggin awesome with some lights going on inside (not on in the pic).

And that is some desk clutter.

I can't remember my system specs, but on my main Dell, I have an 80 gig internal and a 200 gig external, and the new Systemax has some top of the line stuff, with a 200 gig internal. I also have six DVD/CD burners going.

And yes, you can see the JCC on one monitor.
