More Marauder Lieutenants helmets

Cool weapons!!! I espically love the flintlocks with the big tooth handles. Very stylized. Reminds me of the kind of guns they made for the Tv show Firefly

Please, you'll never have to apologive to me about Firefly. One of the best tv shows ever. Why the general public just doesn't get Joss Wheadon is an enigma I have never been able to comprehend.

One of my original custom creations, machined out of solid aluminum round, tubing. Blending Darth Maul's double and Qui Gon Jinn's hilt designs in mind.
After going over numerous re-designs with the martial artist wielding this menace, I decided to stick with a simple design. The end result is the
Lightsaber Nunchuck

used for the final battle sequence by our main villain.

Frikkin' awesome.

Did you use a wide cut-off blade for the horizontal bands on the inner rod, a rotary table mounted on a mill or are they V cuts instead of square cuts?

V cuts, had to mill um down a bit, they were to steep and were cutting peoples hands.

Nice. I noticed that you used the chain assembly from converta-chucks to make it transform from a staff to nunchucks (at least that's what it looks like you used). I once did that to make a staff convert to 2 fighting sticks (I removed the chain and swivels of course). However, won't that make the hilt a bit weak in the middle when sparring with it in staff mode? I would think it would be and as such would consider making another identical hilt only without having it come apart in the center (assuming you haven't done that already).

Also, what steps did you take to make it look "weathered" (sorry for all the questions)?

That chick battle must have mud and bikinis, or it will come off as fake grin grin grin

lol...

Hmmm, you know, with all this production documentation, you really can make a freakin awesome visual dictionary for 7 jedi, an independent production for the independent aspiring film maker, and sell that off through stream book stores. Barnes and Nobles would pick it up as well as Borders. Alot of people will buy a book like that from you, including me : ) And it's 100% legal!!!

So, when are you guys gonna be wrapped, and what is your release season and year, a date if you have one?

OH: Question, you guys are shooting in Hawaii right? Did you guys have to have your production blessed? I hear that all productions in Hawaii have to be blessed or else it's bad luck.
