For the remastered edition of the orignal RVD, did you guys redo the entire thing from scratch or did you still have the project file to tweak?

Mike had the project files to work from, but in addition to re-interpolating the video for higher quality and re-rendering the sabers with some updated glows, he also corrected a fair deal of the rotoscoping.

Didn't Mr. Scott mention something about wanting to be the first to shoot a lightsaber duel with RED? Could that bump up production on RvD3? Or could you be planning the long-rumored (ok, not rumored, I mentioned it a few times as wishful thinking) RvDvB? Or are you just going under the assumption that nobody else will have the capability or interest to do it before you in the next 3 years?
Also, on a completely unrelated, yet somehow relevant topic, if you put aside the choreography and the lightsabers, who would win? Ryan or Dorkman?

Dorkman could easily have the first lightsaber fight on RED: just rotoscope blades into the hands of the Kung Fu RED actors. I'm justing waiting for a n00b to try this.

You seem convinced that in order to have saber fighting on RED at all, it must be a new full-blown saber duel film as part of the Rv* "saga".
