You are probably confusing it with Feb. 24, which was when we had our "World Premiere" screening.
One year for RvD2, five years for RvD. It's not quite "ten years of TROOPS", but for me personally that's a hell of a thing to realize.

First off, you should be able to set up your web host so that it cannot go over your allotted bandwidth. If not, you need a new webhost.
Secondly, how much bandwidth was used? Before people volunteer, they should make sure they can't get into similar trouble.

Well, it finally happened. Someone just recognized me and Ryan at random at the supermarket.
We've been recognized before at geek-related events like Comic-Con and Star Wars Celebration, but now we've been recognized at the supermarket in the suburbs at 10PM by a random stranger.

Ha! It happened to us a couple of years ago, and we're far far faaar less well-know than you two. It was at Alton Towers (large theme park here in the UK) - someone went up to us and said "Er... excuse me, are you The Secret 7000?". We were gobsmacked.

This means you have to start wearing sunglasses all the time now.
The closest I had to this was when I worked in a movie theatre back home while I was still going to school on the other side of the state. In one of my early "film communication" courses (big lecture hall), I was one to talk a lot during the discussions.
The following summer, I got recognized for this about 200 miles away.
That was kinda cool. Not exactly the same since we were in the same room for a full semester.

Yea but do they recognize you individually or only as a couple (in the non-bibilcal sense (actualy I don't know what the Bible says about male/male couples (actualy this is a pointless aside)))?
