I found it to be interesting. Yet lacking. Perhaps a little more story involved. Why do they are want a ring that is said to be Bad luck?

Ohh it's only bad luck because if you have it people will kill you to get it off you. Like many valuable objects, people will be drawn towards it and some people will stop at nothing to get what they want. Which is shown by two of the characters in the film.
