Iron Thread of the Obsidian Socializers: Social Thread v7.0

Welcome to this, the one and only (read: at least seventh) Fan Films Social Thread! This is where we post about all sorts of topics, not just fan films or filmmaking, but pretty much anything under the sun. For example, movies, music, TV, "Star Wars" nerdery, what we did today, food, school and the rise of falconry as sport among men of title in Edwardian England.
In general, if you have something off-topic (read: not directly about fan films or filmmaking) to post about with your Fan Films buddies, you do it here. Making an off-topic thread on the boards itself is generally looked down upon, unless earth-shakingly exciting and important.
The TOS is still in effect here, so no flaming, profanity, warez requests, spamming, pornography or anything like that. The mods are particularly active participants in this thread, for what it's worth. 
Other OFF-SITE ways to socialize with highly attractive people on the Internet (note that these operate outside TFN itself, so don't complain to me if someone uses dirty words)
