Ravens, or more commonly, raven-haired.

I watched Blade again tonight. I did notice a couple things I wouldn't have however many years ago when I last saw it (mostly in the shooting style/look), but it still just doesn't really do anything for me.
The villain can't convincingly swear to save his life. I posted about the movie on the blog, see the sig if you wanna have a look.
Meh. While some of the more recent Marvel films have as many (if not more, grr X3) flaws, I'd still pick those first. The Blade film/character is just too emotionless for me to care much about it.
EDIT: What is wrong with Blogger's fonts? It keeps shrinking automatically for some reason after I post.

Just saw this news story: Halo and Hookers...
I have to say that that's one of the best news stories that I've read since the guy suing the lakers because of the mascot falling on his arm and breaking it, and then suing because it was in so bad of shape after staying for the rest of the game...
"Ralph's ambition is to one day become a politician." I'd say that he's off to a good start...

Heh, speaking of Twitter, sounds like Dorkman is a mere 6 hours from his RED. w00t! Wait, why am I w00ting? I don't get to touch it...

I hate that It only becomes stalkerish if you actually post things that lead people to stalk you. It's asking what you're doing, not where you're at.

Nate, I got a question for you. My PC is on its last legs, and I've decided for my next computer, I want a laptop. As much as the Mac OS bugs me, they make nice laptops. (Actually, much to my chagrin, I've discovered I enjoy a mac as a working environment. I've been seduced my all those hotkeys. The apple key can do anything. ) So, what should I get? My price range is so far undetermined (I plan to work over the summer to earn what I need, so its nor real high) and my only requirements are that it will last me through senor year and college, and that I can duel boot XP and play all my games. Got any recommendations?

So, I'm here at work, and I'm making mug shots for our weekly "Crimestoppers" segment. I just made a mug shot of a guy who's name is Michael Scott. Just FYI.

At this time, I've gotta say thanks to Mike and Ryan.
For those of you at this board who don't know this, I really like to color correct/grade pictures and video. Even if it looks good in the first place, I'm obsessed with giving it my own look. I've always done this using Photoshop (with Actions and Automated Batches for video) and have figured out lots of ways to enhance the look of the shot.
Now, to get to the point. I've been working on a project (not a movie) where I'm color grading lots of video files that I shot. These ware rather dark to start out with, since they looked nice that way on the HV-20's screen, which in this case means I have to color correct them for anyone to even see them well. Anyways, as I've found out by color grading clips from my camcorder that started out dark, after the process is done, the color and light flickers around a bit. Most likely due to subtle differences in the darkness, which become magnified when brightened. The result is obviously not something you want to use.
Now what does all this have to do with Ryan and Dorkman? I was recently re-watching a few of the features on the RVD2 dvd, one of them being the VFX breakdowns. When I ran into the flicker problem this morning, I thought of that part where you guys explained how you got passed the problem in that shot where you had the camera set at 22fps. I'd never used Match Color before, but I tried it out and it worked! Now the only flicker I get is from compression, which isn't nearly so bad.
