Question, why in the world does he have those stupid lil wings on the side of his head? Those are the FIRST thing to go!!! Followed by the pirate boots and gloves... then the color pattern has to change!

Ladies and gentlemen, I present you with the formula for pissing off the entire fanbase of a character, thus sending a would-be franchise quickly to the $5 bin at Wal-Mart.

I'm astounded that you think they ruined Hulk's "costume". A green-skinned guy in torn purple pants?
Kinda hard to mess that one up.

EDIT: Also, if he is for America, he should fight our central governments corruption, that's where the war on terror starts, not outside, but from within our nation!

This is the only thing in that whole post that makes a lick of sense.

But whenever I agree with e_f on something it makes me think I'm probably wrong. plain

Actually, I really don't think the Captain has a big enough fan base, you can kinda get away with whatever as long as it's somewhat within the characters context... say, didn't they 110% change the X-men costumes for the films? They weren't bad movies, just bad costume adaptation. -- the comic costumes by marvel woulda been worse! Same with the Captain imho. I also hate the name, Captain America, it cant get more silly then that!!! But that cant change, so I wouldnt call him by that name in the film until perhaps the end, and only by citizens or villains maybe.

I was referring to the new movies of Hulk, how he becomes like, 5 -100,000 times his size... errgghhh, over the top silly. No matter how well it's done, I don't buy it.

You think it makes sense to keep a child's style costume from 1941 on a superhero story retold in a realistic way in 2010 60 years later? Also, the A on his forehead has to go. The suit would somewhat develop, so by the end of the film, it resembles the comic book a bit more, just not as silly though. I am making a cardboard shield now happy , as I have most the day off and am tired of editing VT's, (sorry fjrsm...it's comin,) but I'll post shield picks later today in regards to the direction I think the film's look and feeling should go in...

The stars are an indicator of your post count.
http://boards.theforce.net/help/Faqs.aspx#stars

Back in the old days they were always visible, but sometime in 2002 (maaaaybe 03) it was decided to make them invisible here on TFN, presumably on the grounds that people were making terrible posts* in order to get prettier stars, presumably on the grounds that there's nothing to make a woman quiver like being able to tell at a glance that a guy has thousands of posts on a Star Wars forum on the Internet.

* i.e. much like mine

It would appear that the stars are back for a bit whilst we kick it old-school.
