I'm not the biggest fan of Watchmen as a graphic novel. But I gotta say, that trailer kicked my ass.
I'm a little tired of trailers referring to every director as "visionary", but in this case I'm willing to let Snyder have it.

I think for RVD3, you should put "From the visionary directors of RVD1 and RVD2." Do it. For tongue-in-cheek appeal.

Seconded.
EDIT: Oooh... can I call dibs on editing your trailer in the faraway future?

Wait, a trailer of mine, or RVD3? Dorkman has mentioned he doesn't do trailers for short films, because it shows too much for a film with such little runtime.

's why Control's trailer was only 20 seconds long :P Well, 30, counting the credit (name of movie and where to find it).

Watchmen trailer.
Error 404. I can't seem to really find this trailer anywhere. Not even through Google!
On an unrelated note: I was digging through the old, old, OLD threads and found this. My, my. How times have changed. It was fun looking through the old posts. I find it ironic that two of the first three posts were from Ryan and Dorkman. Never saw it coming.

It's amazing what sort of energy text, cuts to black and quick, bright and flashy shots can generate for an audience.
But yeah, it's prolly not really necessary.
Oh, and Watchmen Teaser.
Good ol' Superherohype.com. They know what's up.

More amusing is the fact that I apparently totally disagree with myself. Everything I said in that thread flies in the face of what I actually wound up doing.
Talk about how times change -- I actually find I agree with WhisperingDeath!

They used to be very active. Threads would slip off the front page quickly. However, fan films forum seems to have reached it's peak, and started to decline. To be honest, I no longer have any interest in fan films at all, I just come here to hang out with the old gang.
