I just got a Macbook Pro and Final Cut Studio, and I'm getting an HV20 in a couple of days.

I wish I had a movie to make.

Yeah Pixel, I think that the boards peaked out back when Episode III came out.

Or something.

I'm considering going to the Dark Knight at midnight, but I don't feel like going alone and no one wants to go with me.

It's sad. Truly.

I'm here to plug my latest short romantic comedy!

"Breakdown" Teaser Trailer!

I'm not gonna start a new thread quite yet, but once it's released (on August 1st), I'll put it up in its own thread. For now, tell me what you think of the trailer! There's not much to see, but how much can you really show for a 10 minute film without giving away all the good stuff?

I love that some people around here like making romantic comedies love

I confess that a certain Terry Gilliam movie sort of ruined that tune for me forever though wink

I would make a romantic comedy if I thought it could be taken seriously.

Just saw Dark Knight... it was very cool, but a different kind of cool than I thought it was going to be.
I'm gonna have to watch that one again.

Oh, and the Watchmen trailer was rad too.

There's nothing I can say that hasn't already (or won't soon) be said by far more articulate people...but Dark Knight was phenomenal.

Between that and the amazingness that is Dr. Horrible, it's a good weekend for superhero geekery.

Me too! I've been waiting over a year to do a romantic comedy, and I finally got enough people to help me out with it.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Brazill either. It got too weird at the end.

Caught that myself this week. It's not particularly funny, but Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion are two of my top ten TV personalities. Plus, I'm a sucker for musicals, non-superheroes and Joss Whedon. It's clever and catchy for sure.

As for The Dark Knight, I'll be seeing it on Saturday on a nice, big digital screen. Then IMAX.

The Dark Knight...Wow. A very well done movie. Yet at the same time, I kept checking my watch, desperately wanting it to end. I was so bored. I can admit that it was a very well done film, but I did NOT like it AT ALL. It was a crime drama, not a superhero movie.

I thought I'd be seeing it multiple times this weekend, but I hope I never have to watch The Dark Knight again.

Yes... I am serious.
