Ugh, Vimeo blew up on me, had to reupload my reel as a new video completely; old one up and disappeared on me. Clickage for those interested.

I found a baby crow about 2 hours ago, it's about 1 or 2 weeks old, it wont shut up. I am feeding it worms I dug up and made it a small nest, hope it survives, she's kinda cute.

Yep, eyeglass loupe's the one. Not too expensive, either! May have to get two -- one for each eye. Thanks!

Finally going to Dark Knight in IMAX tonight. Tickets were a bit pricey but hey I know it'll be worth it

Really? I was under the impression that good loupes cost a couple grand. My dad made a fuss about it when he had to buy a new pair for surgery.
I mean, I recognize that you don't need medical grade equipment, but I didn't think the price difference was that pronounced. Or, are you rolling in so much dough that dropping a few hundred bucks on a device to replace your dime store reading glasses doesn't bother you?

I saw the midnight of it on Thursday. Honestly, I don't like watching Hollywood films on a screen that big. It's too much. The extra stuff was awesome and all, but some action sequences were just too much for me to take.

Hah! I wish! No, the ones I was looking at (American Science and Surplus) were $7.50. Good enough for me. I'm not working on people.

Well yeah, everyone but me saw it midnight Thursday. I talked to my best friend back home and she's seen it twice, just had to go on and on about how amazing it is; we had to cut our conversation off before she accidentally spoiled something for me I probably wouldn't care about seeing it in IMAX had they not shot part of the film in that format, so I think it's something more than "hey look at Yoda on IMAX! Check out the crappiest Harry Potter on IMAX! OMG IMAX!" I happen to absolutely love IMAX as well

TDK isn't that amazing!!! Christ in a rubber made cartoon, has our society become THIS brainwashed!?! It was a kick ass ride, by far, not amazing, and had some bad moments, and some really good ones, as well, cheesy ones. Worth seeing once, due to it's slow ending, I wont see it twice in theaters, but honestly, it ain't THAT great of a film, the first had a much better story to it.
TDK rocks the block, but is getting overly exposed, it's really not all THAT amazing!

Actually, it is.
It was that good.
While I'm rather sure a lot of the attention is due to Heath's death, the film is fantastic and deserves all the attention it gets.

Aren't you working with explosives? I guess theoretically you're not gonna hurt anyone else if you can't see, but couldn't you still blow your own hands off? $7.50 seems low enough to be too-good-to-be-true.

Heh. Yeah, sure, I've been preaching how good this movie was going to be for months, been looking forward to it more than any other film in my life, and you and Pixel are the only people I've met who haven't been particularly impressed with it. And I find my opinions tend to differ from you two. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but don't go telling me not to believe my best friend and her taste in movies. Seriously, don't go there, or we'll have to bust out the sabers

Hehehe. Just got back; loved the hell out of it. Although my hunch about an alluded spoiler from a supposedly spoiler-free review last week turned out to be true. Not the end of the world, but I was so proud of myself leading up to this film. I even lurked in the Batman thread over on SFF Films and resisted the HTR stuff, then this review goes and lists off enough details that enabled even people without any Batman knowledge to decipher the plot point in question. But at least I never confirmed it beforehand, so there was some faint chance I could have been wrong. I'll read through everyone's reviews and write up my own tomorrow, sun'll be coming up pretty soon...
