Heh. Vapes is still at the top of the page, from a certain point of view.
If there must be a Robin in the Nolanverse, why not have it be a girl, like in The Dark Knight Returns? Skip the whole Dick Grayson bit, and go with Carrie Kelley.
I agree that Bane would be great, but maybe after we've seen a few lesser villains first. There's a lot of damage to be undone from the previous films, so I'd like to see a well-done Riddler and Poison Ivy first.
But, please, for the love of all that is sacred, let's pray that Nolan will keep to one villain per film.

Not to mention the pair in TDK.
And those are just the supervillains.

Actually, there were THREE in The Dark Knight. Scarecrow was still in there. I was happy to see him. When he nailed that guy in the face with his spray, I about laughed out loud.

Just a quick question for you tech heads out there.
I want to upgrade my 512MB of RAM to 2GB, and I checked which DIMM card I needed to do this and i've been advised to get 2 1GB cards. So today I took apart my PC to check that I had two slots, and it turns out I have four. So my question is, if I buy the two 1GB cards, can I leave my 512MB card in there and have 2.5GB total (even if the cards are from different manufacturers)?

Yes you can - but it's advisable for your RAM to work to its optimum to have the same RAM size and speeds across all slots.

In my mind, Raz al Ghul was the villain - Scarecrow was his hired goon. Then, Joker was the villain - Harvey was a victim. The "cameo" was just a bit of continuity for the series.
In essence, Scarecrow was the equivalent of Bob the Goon the Tim Burton Batman.
It's like how I don't count Sandman as a villain in Spider-Man 3. I can't even really count Venom as a fully-developed character. Sadly, Venom is the Darth Maul of the Spider-Man series. He showed up, looked cool, and then died a silly death, all the while contributing nothing of substance to the overall story.
The alien suit, and its effect on Peter, however, was somewhat interesting (not as well-done as in the comics, but still interesting). I personally think Peter's own id was the villain of Spider-Man 3.

I have a question:
Supposedly I watched The Dark Knight yesterday in IMAX...I say supposedly because the theater said it was IMAX, the ticket said The Dark Knight IMAX, blah blah blah, but...
I don't feel like it was really IMAX because I was under the impression that an IMAX screen is closer to 4:3 than 16:9 or Cinemascope, and as a result all of the non-IMAX scenes would be cropped with black bars. This was not the case. The screen I watched the movie on, while large, was also closer to 2.35:1 and the entire film filled the entire screen.
What do you guys think?

Was the screen eight stories tall? Because if it was, that's IMAX...I mean it's sorta hard to mistake it I noticed the opening title was in 2.35 and the previews and all were letterboxed, but from the moment it cut to the shot of Gotham it filled the entire screen, which yes, is closer to 4:3.

I was under the impression that only 20 or so minutes of the film was actually in IMAX, and I always thought it was the scene where Joker tries to hijack the armored car with Harvey inside. The first whole batpod sequence, basically.

Yeah, you would be correct. The whole police convoy scene was IMAX, as well as some shots of Bruce cruising around in his lamborghini. There might have been some wide city shots shot IMAX as well, but those kind of shots were sprinkled so much throughout the film you would have to be paying closer attention to tell. When a sequence comes on screen that was shot in IMAX, you can tell and it is so gorgeous. The IMAX experience was worth the admission, and we're probably going to go again this week.
