For once, I agree.
Cats are superintelligent manipulators. Dogs are followers.
You can get dogs to do things, whereas cats, if you got them to "do" something, it was only beause they manipulated you into thinking it was you who "told" them to do it.

And for some reason, this seems to make cats better in some people's eyes. At least you get genuine affection from a dog.
....
Did that sound creepy?

If you die in your house with your dog, it will starve to death. If you die in your house with your cat, it won't.
That's reason enough for me to not like cats.

Okay guys, let's not kill the funny of the shotgun pic :P
I put in my two weeks notice at the grocery store; next Tuesday's my last day, but of course then I was pressured into working Friday. I've gotta see if someone wants another four hours to work...

Hm. Dorkman's arms are thicker, but then Ryan's manliness is being demonstrated through is chugging. Either that, or he's distracted by the drink.
Bets?

Well... Dorkman won the other two times... I mean sure, one of Ryan's clones got the drop on him the first time, and cut off his arm the second time, but till...

Ha, they even hauled out the HVX to shoot it.
EDIT:
Whoa. Newsflash. It won't allow me to download a manual, and the shooting modes aren't outlined in the specs, but from the press release (and a few calculations) the camera will at least be capable of producing 1080p30 @ 18mbps. There's not a lot on the other features, nothing to suggest exactly how much control one has over the image in "video-mode", how the camera manages to process 21megapixels into 1080p that fast, the compression scheme, but it's certainly worth watching to find out what happens. If it really is offering 35mm DoF at 1080p24 at a reasonable level of compression with the ability to interoperate with canon's full range of EOS lenses, for only $2,700 MSRP...

So far, it's not offering 24p. It is offering ONLY 30p.
Stu Maschwitz is crusading for the addition of 24p, but so far they're not throwing it in there.
Why? Because buy the XL-H1, that's why.
In other news, I saw Speed Racer last night, and surprised myself by liking it.

Really? The press release said "up to 30fps" That's the only mode it has though?
EDIT: Huh, that's really too bad. "(Quicktime 1080p H.264; 38.6 Mbits/sec)" Might be pretty useful still. That's some damn high quality HD.

Yeah, same here. I went into it thinking I wouldn't like it, but I love the end race scene. It's quite powerful editing I think. Not the race itself, which is just a VFX fest, but the flashback of all the things his family said to him leading up to the race. I don't know why, I just liked it.
Also, when they do the montage of the brother getting the surgery to conceal is identity, I just thought it was a powerful moment. The score was also perfect in that scene.

Heh, I was actually annoyed by the flashbacks. Very "Hey, remember that movie you just watched? And are still watching? We assume you don't, so here's a refresher." I did remember, guys. I would've been okay without that.
It's a movie much like Transformers. I wasn't expecting much from it, and it met those very low expectations. The digital cars were fantastic, although the environments could be questionable.
