I'm sure I'll be there.
Incidentally, it's actually not too early to be thinking about it, as half the hotels in the vicinity are already sold out.

Really? Well crap, I guess that's the first thing that I need to go after. I just decided Today that I'm gonna go for sure this year. Grant it that I'm not gonna have my clone armor by then, so I'm not sure that I'll be in costume... Unless of course I ca come up with something else by then that doesn't cost much.
hmm...

It's a bit of hyperbole -- I don't have the data to say exactly half. But I know that several of the more popular hotels in the area sell out that weekend several years in advance, and waiting until the week or two before (as people like me have been silly enough to do the last couple years) is problematic.

Well I wasn't planning on getting a room at one of the bigger hotels anyway, just one of the smaller, (cheaper), ones... I'm gonna be paying to much for the bus anyway... Which reminds me, is $300 a lot for a round trip ticket from San Antonio, to San Diego? Seems to me that Greyhound would've been cheaper.
[EDIT]
Actually, looking on the Comic con site, all the hotels in their list, are marked as having no open rooms... Which sucks...

Watched The Incredible Hulk. Didn't really enjoy it at all, to be honest. The only thing that really set a grin on my face was Stark.
Now, Speed Racer on the other hand, was friggin awesome. The coolness of the film started even before the film itself started. Now that's awesome. Story, not so much though, but the film is such a thrill-ride it didn't really matter.

The Wachowski's have developed their own style of storytelling. Great visuals and no substance. Now Speed Racer was full of substance if you've ever seen the original show. It felt like a long episode with a great live action cast. I wasn't happy about how they spoon-fed us the story of Racer X, but it was done in the same style as the original show. I went in expecting a visually stimulating experience with the same campy story and characters. It was exactly what I wanted it to be. Wanting anything more out of it just isn't Speed Racer.
As for The Incredible Hulk, I don't recall that much as I wasn't in the right frame of mind to be seeing it. I was laughing uncontrollably throughout the film. From what I can remember though, is that Edward Norton can play his mental disorder characters very well. Fight Club, American History X, and The Incredible Hulk. Perhaps he should try something different...I'm getting tired of the same character over and over again.

I went in having no knowledge of story, visuals or anything. I heard good things, and great visuals. I also knew the wachowskis made it, and I trust their films(I happen to like the matrix sequels). I was thrilled, and very pleased aftwerwards. I'm sorry you feel that their stuff has no substance, but I get what you mean.

I loved the story to speed racer. some things were over the top, racing and the car-fu was a lil too much, but was still a great freakin film. the marketing caused it to do so-so... I wouldnt mind a sequel.
EDIT: Perfect soundtrack to speed racer...

I got into Hulk, as I do just about every Marvel film. I just have too much invested in the characters to be impartial, really. I can't see how they'll get away with doing another, but maybe we'll see him again in Avengers.
We were so close to actually seeing the Leader and Doc Samson next time, too.
Sigh.

I thought the trilingual rap remix of the Speed Racer theme at the end credits was ridiculously cool.
