• The project is not in WMV format. It's just not very compatible. Perhaps if it were in AVI or MPEG, but not WMV.

The fades are NOT going to be in the film,they will all be edited out.
Just think of it as the dirrector saying action.

Every fan film I have worked on TOD and such sent me small 5 to 20 sec clips.
I though that was just how its done when many people are working on a project

I agree, though I'm not saying scrap this whole duel and re-do it entirely. Finish this one. You'll feel much better about your ability to actually finish a project if you do. As has been said, the costumes are great, but the other areas are lacking. I'd like to see these characters again, but I think for a battle between two Sith, a midday duel in a park with a bunch of long shots isn't going to do them justice.

Just a word of warning, though having it edited together and sped up will make it look a bit better, it probably won't help as much as you think. I thought the same thing with my current project, and found out it wasn't was good as I thought. Remember, post-production can get you pretty far, but it's the production and preproduction that really count.
