Man, it's a shame I had to drop out this year. I'd have liked to have pitted myself against (and probably lost to) Ryan. I'll definitely do it next year. I hope you run next year too, Ryan!

I think he actually got into visual effects for the poontang. Everyone knows compositors get more.

Ok, this is a load of crap:
We filmed our entry. It's nothing special at all, and we know it wouldn't win or anything but we still put a lot of work into it, and we were pretty happy with the way the shooting went. Well, I was just getting into the editing phase, when my dad decides to halt all "movie stuff" until I graduate from the National Frat of Student Musicians (gasp....that happens on..that's right....June 1st!!!). So thanx to my overly-obsessed parents....I...am......out. Gah, can't believe this!
I'll finish the movie sometime next month I guess and post it up.....

When I was in high school, I re-arranged the garage to do a shoot for my Acting/Interpretation class, and left it in a weird sort of disarray, I think I messed up something dad needed for work. Anyway, during my scolding, he said something to me like "It won't ever matter if you make a stupid little garage movie."
It was a heat of the moment thing, and it stung, but y'know. If your parents haven't done anything like it, then it seems they just don't understand how important our stupid little movies are to us. While I was going to school for a film degree, and talked to mom about FA/FKaD, or other projects I was doing on the side, she actually said to me "Well, maybe you should spend more time on your studies rather than making movies."
Yeah, this didn't happen. And the projects I did for school later on were better because of it.
Dad's supportive of my field, by the way. He was just kinda pissed I messed up his box of stuff. I got an A- on the movie.
Try to upload it whenever you finish it, it'd still be nice to see.
Either that, or edit when the 'rents aren't home/are sleeping.
