Not entirely sure how many actually subtmitted their entry, but I do know it's far less than the original list of like 40 people. I'd say the next one should be announced like 8 months prior to give people who couldn't enter this year time to join the next one. I'll be making a duel this summer, regardless of the LCC, but I'm not sure if I'll have it completed until the next one. It'll have some nice effects and such, all as I originally planned for this years entry.
Anyways, I'm not sure if it's already been pointed out, but when will we get to see the entries?
EDIT: Ryan; do you think you're entering next year too? I wanna beat ya :P

Vidina, if you read a few pages back, JediPastor had to drop out if I recall unfortunately, so scratch him off the list.

I dont think is is an issue of how much time we have, but rather an issue of procrastination. Thats defintely my problem, and one I intend to fix for next year. My results were less then satisfactory in the camera and editing departments.

Not really much point posting a list of who you think is in. ObiJuan has the definitive list.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to being entertained by all the entries. Hopefully there will be some innovative choreography this year.

ObiJuan mentioned to me they were looking for a 5th judge, and I successfully bribed him into letting me on the panel. Besides, it's a life goal of mine to do something noteworthy.

Even more reason to prepare for next year! *maniacal laughter* And on the subject of procrastination, I'd say guidelines would be a good thing to set forward now for next year's comp. They way, all the writing and prep can be done in the summer, shooting in the fall, and post in the winter (no one likes a bruised knuckle in the cold, right?). Then, have entries declared with qualifications being something simple like a teaser image. Whereas a project of this kind might only need a few weeks or months to complete for more industry-savvy people, students and hobbyists would need more time and prep.
None of this would actually HELP procrastination, however. Why did I post that....
