If anyone has ideas on how to get that loving feeling back in the script without needing to stick Larson back into part 3, they're welcome to discuss.

we could always intercut Larson in a few times to see what he's up to... which can be filmed by a separate crew. Each part doesnt have to have a different crew, it's the scenes that need different crews.
just so we dont just forget about Larson...

I really don't recommend that one. If he isn't doing anything remotely related to the main action of the film--what BOT is doing--we'll just get this scattered effect.
Or, alternately, if it really isn't working without him, maybe we can bite the bullet and just figure out how to do it the way it's currently written?

It could be a bit of a nod to Han's similar action at the end of ANH, coming back to shoot the TIEs off Luke's tail . . . . I like it.

Not really...at least not how I would do it...though it would be too depressing...an idea just came into my head where BOT is cursed in that anyone who helps her ends up in jail or dead.

It's still the same action as the end of ANH. No matter if you write it brilliantly, it's still a mimic. We're doing enough mimic just being a fanfilm.

Set up a green screen, do some improv acting in front of it and the effects guys can put you into the market scene on Naboo.
