Incidentally, I've recently gotten access to a JVC Everio GZ-MG20. Not the greatest camera ever, as it has a 1/6-inch CCD imager with 680K resolution, but it might be usable. I'm not sure - I'll leave that determination to those with more technical knowledge than me.
