Some of you may remember Final Reunion from almost a year ago. The sequel, entitled Highwaymen, has been released, sporting a custom soundtrack from Justin Durban and dynamically choreographed two vs. one combat.

Check it out at Vimeo; tell us what you think!

Spiffy. I loved the first duel. And Justin does some amazing music, (supposed to be doing music for my film once it's finished filming)...

I'll let you know what I think when it's finished.

Neat! It ran a little long for my taste, but there was some clever choreography in there!

It was a bit long, but the fight was cool.
I think there was something with all the wide shots of them not fighting that took me out of it a bit.

Other than that, I enjoyed it, Good Job!

I loved it. Bravo guys. And the music was amazing.

Is there anywhere that I could download a higher quality version?

And I figured that I'd just throw this in here... In the description for the video, on the Vimeo page, it says, "amushed", instead of what I assume is supposed to be "ambushed"... grin

Derek did the Vimeo description; I think he was in a bit of a hurry.

I'll get back to you on that, SithMan; I think there's a high-res download on Megaupload or Mediafire.

Nicely done. Really enjoyed it.

I think you are perfect candidates for LCC VI.

That was pretty sweet, good work. Dialog was iffy at times, but who cares about any of that anyway? tongue
I do like the whole guerrilla/commando style you've got going, it brings something a little different to your traditional forest fight.

The execution of the choreo was excellent: that's a lot of rehearsal.
I thought there were too many obvious defensive openings that one opponent or the other 'missed,'
e.g. The double bladed guy comes up behind the courier, and reaches around in front to bang the sticks.
(dang, that sounds dirty angel )
It mostly looked like stick-whacking, less like fighting; I think that's a common flaw in long duels.
So I'm taking off a point for the actual choreography.

Clever low-budget foley, good tunes, nice shooting--
except I didn't like the first shot of the bandit's eyes:
the lighting & color was totally wrong.
Roto was pretty solid.
I liked the use of the wrist guard to block the saber.

What's the core?

pretty neat. the effects were a step up from the first. although the choreography was awesome it seemed a little too spread out at some points. but you did really good on the 2 vs. 1 aspect and as far as i'm concerned that's a feat in itself. good job! applause

Great work! I really enjoyed it! Are you shooting in HD? What did you make the saber props out of?

VortexSpin has only posted 12 times and he joined in '06. While these guys seem keen on lightsaber fan films and do good work, I guess this is not their home. Shame really because it should be. Anywho, as such, I'm guessing that they are not interested in our contests.

Kicking the thread up because I just found Highwaymen on Vimeo. Well worth watching! Good acting, good choreography, great music. I really liked the character moments.

Also, -Spiff- liked the camo cargo pants.

Nice job! And the bloopers were hilarious. What did you use as the lightsaber blades before rotoscoping? They sounded very light.
