Not to cause an "abandonment" of your site, but if you wanted to go into detail, I could see you making this a wiki. Have a page with a link for each film still, but with detailed information.
The Fan Audio community recently started a wiki of their own. It can get pretty comprehensive depending on who's adding the content. I think it'd be cool to see something like this for fan films as well.

That's not a bad suggestion. I've been working on a way to try to get some more info incorporated without the look being too over-whelming. Mainly, runtime, parody/serious, and a brief blurb about the film. But, there are alot of ways it can go from here. Thanks for the feedback.

For those fan film collectors and historians out there, I have been fortunate enough to get a copy of the Dark Redemption in a higher-quality format, and in one piece. It's always been available in 5 parts elsewhere. You can download it here:
http://fanfilms.phispace.net/The%20Dark%20Redemption.mp4
As you can see, it's mp4 format, and 292 MB. You should definitely check it out.
Of course, you can download it from my web site too [plug].

Like I said your other thread, I helped create the list found here. Only a few have links. As far as I know, you'd be the first to actually link to every fanfilm.
Another resource can be found here: http://www.starwars-universe.com/fanfilms/
It is a great resource for international fanfilms.
You should know, Art of the Saber has gone through at least 2 different edits. The most recent one shows a black and white photograph laying in the grass. This was not in the first edit. You might want to see if you can find the one you're missing and put them both up. Also you should include the proof of concept video they made as a test, which is a kickass saber fight in its own right.
In fact you seem to be missing quite a few that are hosted on TF.n, off the bat, Grape Scented, 65th Sense, The Ten Dollar Fanfilm.
You're missing Star Wars Episode III: A Lost Hope
Also, I wouldn't recommend doing the Star Wars kid videos. There are probably hundreds of those, and at least a dozen sites dedicated to them.

There are definitely some that I don't have there. Mostly, it's a case of me not having gotten to a couple of them to watch them. I try to watch the films before I put them up in case there's something extreme to look out for, and I just have bypassed a couple of the ones on Tf.N temporarily (Beer Wars and Beagle make that list too) . Same with Ep 3 A Lost Hope. I've had it for a couple of weeks, but haven't gotten it up there yet.
There are also several stop-animation films out there, and I don't have any of those up yet. They'll have their own page, though, and I am working on getting that set up.
As far as Star Wars kid - no doubt!! That's a whole other thing entirely.
If you don't mind, I'm also going to PM you for a couple of specific questions.

Almost forgot, TFN has a page with links to more well-known fanfilms hosted offsite.

Thanks for listing Contract of Evil.
I dont know if everyone has seen this link. I recieved it thru another thread here
at the forum. http://fanfilms.phispace.net/
It seemed to have films there I have never heard of or even seen before, But It carries the same concept you have, but not as nearly as professionaly put together as your websight.
Nice page, I put it on the favorites list.
gotta go get some long night writing.
By the way, What happend to the Cho brothers? Even Mike Scott couldn't find them when he had his L A premeire of DVD2. I never heard of them making ~any~ other films. even indie features.
Also a thought, youtube has many RVD type lightsaber only fight films. It might be fun to a catagory for just that type of fan fighting film and only due to the sheer volume I have seen lately on youtube. I think in the Atoms contest they had something called
~concrete hustle~? it was good and did quite well I think.
The film reminded me of mike and Ryan's of solely saber fighting with no real story but non the less a great fight. Never even heard of the film until the Atoms contest. So it would be fun to see all ~those~ lightsaber contest type films put together if at all possible and then it would make looking for certain films easier. I dont know how hard it is to list these so it's just a thought, if it's too much to do so than keep doing what your doing. its great!.
now for that

Funny thing, I set http://fanfilms.phispace.net/ up for kuatengineer so he could host fan films not found elsewhere. It's more of an offshoot of his project than something on its own. If anyone has copies of obscure fan films, we're happy to host them. Just contact kuatengineer.

Sweet Phil ! good to know!
So are the fan films hosted by link only at your sight like fanfilms.net or can people down load them too ? I have my second film on youtube right now called
'star wars Crossroads of Destiny', which is sadly in two parts and low, low, resolution,
I have since re-edited the film and made the fights faster and more intense. But my wish is to have it premiered again at a higher res and new edit on a different sight if at all possible but streaming would suit me rather than download only availability.
whats the primary way the films linked to your sight can be viewed by ?
streaming like youtube or download only?
Just curious

I just have download storage set up. It's really just a storage box for fan film .mov's and .avi's and .mp4's and such.
If you want streaming I really recommend Vimeo. It's higher quality than youtube and there is no run time limitation, just a file size limit of 500mb.
Technically I could set up a streaming service at even higher quality (Spiff and I did for Eclipse SE), but Vimeo is just easier for most purposes, so I haven't bothered.
It's worth noting that kuatengineer has a streaming video section in his library and is happy to link videos off Vimeo or YouTube or such

fantastic Phil,
That sounds like a winner and I already have the account for Vimeo so I;ll post it there and let everyone know, probably after comic con ,since I am trying to get ready for that and Contract is up for something. But it would be nice to have both for viewing at the con when the show ends and the after parties begin!!
I sure miss the midnight manga we used to see, like Vamopire Hunter D was premiered at san diego around 1 am! ahh, good times...

It's also worth pointing out that Vimeo allows you to do both things at once - streaming and download - if you choose to do so. You've seen Ziga's thread here for Vengeance of the Jedi, for example, and that film is available to download from Vimeo.
And Phi and Spiff have been a HUGE help to me, so props to them!
Lou, you know that if you do get Crossroads out there for download, I would love to have it available (I do have it on the Streaming page). It's a great film.

Thanks so much for the props but wait until you see the re-cut,
I did my best to take what I have and change it enough to make it
faster for the fans that wanted that star wars faster more intense feeling.
I tried that classic EP4 feeling, but with todays films being so good and fast.
folks just needed COD to pick up a bit and thats ok by me.

Lou, any chance you'd be willing to put together a DVD version and let us torrent it or make that available for D/L as well?
CoE is lonely..it needs its companion disc.
