m2t file problem
Hey, I've come across a weird issue with m2t files I was wondering if you guys could offer some help.
I just bought an HV20, and I've been using HDVSplit to get the captures onto my computer - well I actually put them onto an external harddrive. I also have my NLE On a harddrive (Ulead) - so i can use it on both my laptop and desktop.
The problem is, I can import the m2t files into Ulead and edit them on my laptop, but when I try to do it on my desktop computer, it won't let me import the files or work with them.
Is there a codec or something that my desktop may not have?

RE: m2t file problem
All you need is for your app to understand mpeg2. Hmmm sounds like maybe it got installed on the laptop but not the desktop (and why install th NLE in a harddrive?). Can you play any sort of mpeg2 on the desktop? I would just install the NLE on both the desktop and laptop (as well as HDVSplit) and just use the external drive as the place to where to capture the clips.
