...sequel to "Who Done It", which was initially a college project which was made in, like, two-weeks. Here is a link to the first one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHWCSFBLViw

Let me give you a quick run through. Basically, the school provided us with a crappy camcorder, and we had to write the script, storyboard, and then film it, all in fourteen days. So it's not high-quality, and not exactly our greatest piece of work. But after around six months of attempting to make Star Wars films and such like, we've decided to ditch the whole Star Wars phenomena, and head for something a little bit more abstract in the fan film community. I thought it'd be a good idea to expand on the characters we establish in the original film.

We've got a pretty awesome idea in store, something that hasn't been touched upon in cinema, at least to my knowledge. Here's a compilation of images of our "villain": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqVESTeSFZ4

This isn't the final look of the character, the hair is going to much longer and stringier, so he'll look different come the end product. But we're currently just rounding off the script and then filming will begin.

Hope you guys will stick around.

that was pretty good. i like the concept.

we get an interesting idea of how the joker first became, ya know, insanely psychotic. although, the acting could have used work. i didn't really feel that much anger in the villain. it also seemed a bit cheesy for the detective to keep dropping things.
the back-story was a bit confusing. i wasn't really sure of the motive for the crime.
but hey, for 2 weeks that was pretty darn good. applause

the next one looks good with the make-up and all. how long do you think production will take?

Well, just to explain things a little, the guy who was killed played a "really horrible joke" on the Joker guy, but then he tried to push the blame onto the guy being bullied by the dead guy in the flashback for murdering him, but then the detective realizes that the hand-writing in the red book is identical to the hand-writing on Jamie McEvoy's character assessment. So then he connects the dots...

But it is a highly confusing story to follow, I admit. But we just kind of threw every idea we had into the script and just bundled it all in.

As for production for this film; well, I suspect that the script could be complete in roughly two-weeks time, and then filming should take around a month (my guy's are pretty busy), and then we're there.

So, I'd say, around an August release date. I'm sure you guys can wait.

It was alright. I just didn't like the camera being so shaky in those flashback scenes.

First one had way too much shakycam. The plot was kind of hard to follow. This might be the reason for my jaw dropping expression when I previewed your clip for your sequel. That clip when compared to your bathroom tale looks ten times better. Yeppie for no more shakycam.

And that teaser poster is awesome.

You know, thanks for the feedback. It's a difficult thing to get around here, what with all the competition and such like. And yeah, the first one isn't a sight to behold but that is what happens when you are left with no tripod and a crappy holiday camera.

the shaky cam in the 1st was ridiculous, and the story was a little confusing, but I liked it anyway. and judging from the teaser clip the 2nd will be better. best of luck and I can't wait to see the new one

Indeed, the Joker is rad, and great makeup.

Though you used a jack as his card, not a joker. whistling
