Some kid with LSmaker has managed to find the raw RvB2 and has been putting it up with his studio name and such.
Just thought people here might like to know.
This also raises the question of when an official rotoscoping is due cause I really REALLY wanna see the full thing!

Holy compression artifacts, Batman! What did he do to that thing, it looks terrible.
Interesting he got the colors right. Could be a coincidence, since that's basically your standard 'saber duel color scheme.
Also, it doesn't say in his description that it's his video, unless he changed it after the slew of TFn'ers who commented on it. He wouldn't be the first to post someone's fight with his own effects added. It's not even the whole thing.

Yeah there are other YouTbue tests with it. I would say lets get that thread started so we can get the official roto project going and avoid the low rez attempts. And of course lets have an ending. lol

Personaly, I think it is someone from the boards, but a newbie. I'm sure right now they are not feeling too good about themselves though.

As Rhys says, this happens all the time. While it's nice of everyone to be protective of each others' work, the Rv* stuff is basically released to the world under an unspoken "Creative Commons" license -- we should probably make it a spoken one. Distribute it freely, make alterations all you like, as long as you credit the source -- which he seems to be doing. Newbies are always looking for raw footage to practice on, and RvB2 in particular would be a perfect source of it.
If Ryan and/or Brandon have a problem with it, then that's one thing. But tearing this kid a new one just because he saw a good opportunity to practice his skills is pretty messed up.

I agree with the practice thing but I would not want anyone else sticking a "something productions" in there when the only thing they did was add some effects. Practice all you want but dont take credit for something you didnt do. No where in that video is it said that he/she did the lightsaber effects. We all know who made it but non-TFN members may not.

Yep, this is generally what happens when a slightly less than stellar video is posted on youtube.
A few constrictive responses surrounded by blind hatred for whatever the video may be..
Not a good thing, but its what normally happens.

He did also put Ryan's logo on it too though. I don't think it's that big of a deal. I'd be flattered. He doesn't seem to take direct credit for it, he even mentions their names in the description. Meh, whatever. I guess it depends on how you feel about your work.
