Some of you might remember from a while back Harrison Bahe, aka Dr_Carnivora, offering payments for anybody that wanted to do some visual effects done for him. He got mocked for it.
Well I've recently done some work for him, and guess what, he's paid up the $2,300 USD on the proposed date as promised.
Harrison is a great guy, and keeps his word.

Haha, no way.
It's all being spent on paying for my HV20, and getting an iPhone when they're released here in Australia!
I'm expecting to be broke after that...

I actually remember doing a sequence for Harrison's Wand dual, I never got payed my promised $50. But I never asked for it either as I wasn't able to do all his effects. I don't really think anybody on here thinks he's a bad guy.

That's right. The other project that was a part of the contract is something I'll be doing most likely at the start of next year. Otherwise we both just signed a one year agreement.
I pretty much only made this thread because of the bad word Harrison was getting. He shouldn't have a bad rep around here

HV20 = $1500 (no I couldn't buy one anywhere else -. -')
iPhone will probably = $800
The rest is going into Aurellia I'm guessing

The iPhone will be about $210 AUD.
During the WWDC Keynote, Mr. Jobs specifically said the iPhone 3G's highes price WORLDWIDE would be $199USD. This is with a subscription and everything, and there's not much ways around it.

Nope. That's exactly why you get it cheap. Without any fees like contracts or whatever, the price will be MUCH higher. Providers are trying to sell the phone, not make it unaffordable. You got it the wrong way around

Well, Knowing Ben, the kick ass kind! Really, Didn't know he had a bad name around here... I am pretty sure I am the most hated guy on these forums, no joke. 
Really, who gives a crap! Harrison makes some cool stuff and works with some cool people. If someone is pissed at him for whatever reason, let them be. Alot of people are pissed at Mike Bay, but the guy has 200 + mill. in his bank account and is on top. Dont worry about Bahe's name unless it's spelled wrong, worry about his work, and there isn't much to worry about from what I see in it.
Whatever happened to that one saber fight I saw snippets of Harrison? I believe Nate did some of those effects, like the guy being raised by force lightning, that was kick ass Nate!!! Where in the world is THAT MOVIE? That one, I REALLY wanna see!!!
EDIT: And yes V and P, he did all of the directors cut "Wand Dual" effects and more! If it's any consolation, I was the founding father of pre sound design fabrication for that project. Meaning I said what would work well and they used it. Post manipulated saber SFX...

That was nothing more than a fan trailer for the fifth annual Lightsaber Choreography Contest.
And as for the sound effects, I have to give you a pretty delayed thanks for suggesting those various sounds for the wand attacks and defenses.
And actually, my budget stands as thus: $113,000. ;-)
