My first short film, The Closet Unleashed, is now available for viewing online. It was an absolute blast to make, and was submitted to the AtomFilms Film Challenge, but I received no reply whatsoever from them. I am really excited to share this little video with everyone, and I'd like some comments and feedback on it. This film is specifically geared for the Star Wars Fan community, but appeals best to Star Wars toy collectors. Enjoy!

What I really liked...the stop motion animation. Very nice. What I think ruined some of the enjoyment was the real-time animation. If you'd stuck entirely to the stop motion I know it would have taken a whole lot longer to finish, but I think it would have look nicer, more consistent and actually would have been more enjoyable because I would have not seen all the short cuts.
The live action animation of the troopers with Juno kind of looked like they were ummm...humping the packaging/Juno. I doubt that was your intent, but it was a little weird considering the dialogue at that point.
Anyway, I think you had a nice idea, perhaps a little long, and could have used a bit more sound, i.e. music. But you had some nice pieces.
Just curious, how old was the female actress? I was confused on that part based on the way she was dressed versus my perception of her age.

This was really good. What was the framerate of the Stop Motion Animation?

Which parts seemed to drag to you? What was confusing about the actor's age? I think you liked her outfit, right?

I didn't like the ending too much at all... the movie built up to it, but for me it wasn't worth that build up, but yeah, I still liked it alot! I love towards the end and the closing garage door, nice. Funny watching the lil guy crawl around.
So.... why did they want to get outside? Seem's like a lot to do just for the girl to destroy some toys. I dunno, end kinda creeped me out a lil for some reason. I love that jacket she is wearing!!!

She looked like she might be in her 30's, but she was dressed like a teenager. At first I thought she might be the mother of the household. Then after seeing her up close and the way she was dressed I thought..could she be in her late teens or early 20's somehow?
It was terribly confusing. Was she an obsessed SW mom? or some teenager that just so happened to look a lot older than she was.
As for the drag just overall it seemed slow like each scene could have been trimmed a little bit.

I took this at face value.. and it made me laugh! Some good camera work here, and a cool idea. Hope you do more of this sort of thing. Could do with a little tightening up on the editing.... but apart from that... loved it!

I think you were obsessed with her.
I've heard some great feedback today from many people, and it seems that it does drag in the beginning. Perhaps I can chop it down there. Anyone find that it drags in any particular spot more than another?

I enjoyed it.
I do agree that it should be trimmed, though. Nowhere specific, exactly, just a little here and there. I'm sure that if you just run through it once or twice yourself you'll see where you need to cut.
