	hey , i really need some practice doing post, a.d.r. , foley , sounds effects.so if anyone has something in quicktime format that i can do something with please let me know...thanks , cory

	Hey Cory, When I started out as an A2, we used to load in films without audio and cut foley beds and design fx from scratch for practice. If no one sends footage, just load in some films you enjoy sonically and pick a couple scenes: a quiet scene with little or no dialogue, an action scene with gun fire, laser blasts, etc..., scene with lots of ambient noise or walla... It's a great way to polish design skills but you'll also be using your recording, sampling, editing and mixing skills as well. More companies are moving toward the all in one audio staff: Technicolor Creative Services in Glendale, CA just won our most recent post audio bid and they're audio staff is trained to mix, record, cut, conform and walk foley... so we're never without and engineer.
