Greets all, a short while back I posted some info about the new film community over at deviantART. It has grown a lot since then, and the way we accept film submissions has changed a bit as well. We have been working as a team to make it a great place for video, film, animation, demo reels, you name it. So far things are going really well, which brings me to you.
I'm on the lookout for awesome projects that I can feature and drive traffic to. Basically I have a "send viewers" button that features any project for a day on a special page of the site. Typically anyone who gets featured sees an instant influx of views, both to their work and profile. Depending on the film, many users have seen thousands of hits within a short amount of time even after the feature day has passed.
I'd love to see more of this community post their work to the site, even if it's just demo reels. If you sign up (free) then shoot me a note with the name/url of your project I'll make sure your account can post films. That's all there is to it - there's a lot of potential viewers out there for those that are willing to upload films!

Please make sure you look things over before submitting anything, otherwise I have to flag it for the staff and remove it. Hehe, I've been on the film team for a while. And my only real complaint, is the framerate of the flash player.

After I accepted your invitation for this a while ago I uploaded The Forest II... it'd be nice if you could send some traffic to it  I've sent you a note.
It IS a great service, and I also think the only downer is the default framerate for Flash. It's a little cumbersome to have to remind people to click the high quality version on the right, but I suppose bandwidth an' that...

My Star Wars Fan Film 'Overtime' is up there. And could do with more traffic too! :-)

I love DeviantART, been active on it for over 3 years now, and i'm still enjoying it.
