Wow.. I, I just wanna get drunk.... If only my film could ever reach that level.....
I must say, congratulations on a job very well done. I just love the kind of films that make you look back on the past and think, "Gosh, that was me, wasn't it?" Now all we need are more select pictures!

Ok, if you haven't seen the film, don't highlight, if you have, then do:
Wow. This whole thing is pretty weird, but cool. I'm still wondering, though did everyone who said they had seen it just LIE? Did Bobobear, or someone else just PM them to tip them off?
Anyway, this was an enlightening experience.
But overall, very good show. bravo.

Actually, if people visited the fanfilm chat (yes, this is MAJOR advertising) they would have taken part of what became this notorious scheme...actually, it's not a scheme. Can I help it if people are gullible?
Besides, I didn't have to twist ANYONE's arm into participating. As I recall, all I said was through my post. People took off from there. Kudos to you all...yes, you too Daft!

The thing that amazes me is that all that technical and production brilliance everyone mentioned is packed into a file so small with minimum loss of quality. What an incredible codec.
As for the twist, well I think some of us saw it coming  Beautifully conceived, and masterfully executed. Hats off to all involved.

Based on the posts, I'm guessing there were a few of us that saw through this, even without being in chats, etc.
It has been very interesting and fun to watch as this unfolded. I was really nervous about how people would respond when the truth came out, so I couldn't bring myself to take part in the "conspiracy". I'm really glad that everyone seems to be taking the whole thing so well.
This is a pNick bullet list review I wrote, but stopped short of posting. (Note: this was before Dorkman posted about the bluescreening.)

Well, during one of those late-night baby feedings, I managed to connect when everybody else was sleeping and finally got to look at this.
PadawanNick's bullet list review (no spoilers)
The great
- No question about it, this project grabs the audience attention very quickly. Then just never lets go.
- For such a short endevor, I'm impressed with the depth of the story and characters.
- Great use of resources at hand: It's clear that there was very little to work with when this was made. (Basically no bluescreening. Effects all seem to be rotoscoped and/or CG)
The OK
- Interesting story, but does seem a little contrived (But hey, it's all for fun anyway.)
The bad
- Mainly centered around the events and situations surrounding this production. I hope bringing this up doesn't create rifts on this board. This forum has always been a creative, constructive place to exchange ideas and seeing tempers boiling over about something that is just a hobby (how ever impressive the final result) is just not fun.
One last note before anyone asks...
I don't feel comfortable making my copy available without permission from the creators, so I'll leave it to them.

Anyway, great job to everyone that worked this project. It really was a lot of fun to watch. I don't think there has been so much interest in a fan film since KQ or BA!

The funny thing is, I never even read the Best fanfilms thread! Bastion had to point it out to me when I was in the Chat. So, while I was trying to read the thread, he went back and forth pointing out this and that, trying to get me to figure it out, and all that time I was telling him I could host it if he'd just bloody send it to me!
