I know I have asked alot of quesions but I gotta ask another one happy . At then end of the movie during the credits there are scenes being played. I would love to know what the heck they are saying! Will there be deleted scenes with sound made available?

"Will there be deleted scenes with sound made available?"

At this point I don't think so. I'll see about maybe getting the script out. Oh... several of the lines *are* in the out-take reel. Although... usually because we botched them really good. :-) There are also some scenes not seen in the film. That will be out in about a week.

"Sith Lord had at least 2 or 3 seconds before Soontar stabbed him though the chest."

I have to put my two cents in on that one too. I was the one down there as Rann and I'm VERY used to ground combat (not with a lightsabre). The other problem with taking a swing at Soonter would be getting the choking hand out of the way. Rann would have to let go of Soontar totally go even think about swinging. Any wrestler, Judo player, etc will tell you that letting go there would end you anyway. Better to have the choke and hope the guy goes out before he can do something nasty to you. Even if a choke like that with no backing would take longer than one with backing.

The swing itself would HAVE to be telegraphed like crazy. The way for Rann to win that one would be to bind the sabre arm with the open hand and then swing the sabre while you have a low anchor, but that wasn't how we wanted the story to end happy

We as choreographes knew who was supposed to win and HAD to get to that point. Clould Rann've done some other things to win, yes. We just tried to make it look like he wouldn't think he needed to or could do anything diffent. That's the trick to making the fight scene look a bit more convincing than a Jackie Chan movie grin Though those are still super cool to watch happy

I had this (the 'adjust your monitor' message, but the sound working) happen too, but many people who also have downloaded the Divx version can apparently see it, so thought the problem must be my end.

So off I went to http://www.divx.com/, got the latest codec and player, did a boot-free install, and tried again. And it worked.

Happy, happy. Now I don't have to attempt another huge download. As it is, I had to do it over two nights. Praise be to Getright! 8-)

I'd just like to say that by the second time I watched this I liked it. The first time was good in that it wasn't something I'd seen before but some of the issues bugged me. Once I got over them because I know I'll go through the same thigns when I shoot my film early next year. I really enjoyed it and thought that it was executed very well. It has a good combination of effects and storytelling. Just the little things the actors say tell a lot about them and their relationships. The 2 inquisitors felt like old buds and interacted very well together. I enjoyed it very much and will look forward to watching it again.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK.

Loved the movie. Only 2 complaints.

1.) the sound. I think this has been discussed enough.

2.)the location where the jedi were executed. It's obviously a 20th century building. I know it's difficult to find exotic settings when you're on a budget, but a little dressing to make it look a little more hi-tech would have been nice. Maybe take the motherboards form some old 8088 computers or dead PSX(not a hard thing to find) spray painting them and sticking them to the side of the building.

just a thought.

Over all the movie was good though. The acting was some of the best that i've seen in a fan film, and the fight scenes were very well choreographed.

Remember that was a grain storage container. No reason for fancy electronics. Listen to me calling an 8088 "fancy". Now the meter pole on the outside, a bit contemporary, but we couldn't rip the sucker off for obvious reasons. Besides, you should see how much electronic stuff we burned through on the ship set happy Maybe some LEDs on the walls could've livened it up a bit. How do you picture the inside of a storge container given that blank, white slate?

Young Scott Zier...how well have you done.

I for one am extremely proud of you bud. I love how you are talked about so much in the forum that you can create brawls between different users. Classic.

Anyhow, I won't say too much, but I had to give you mad ups for what you have done. I know it isn't the perfect vision of Zier, but most of us know what you wanted to do and you have learned a lot from the past 2 years. I am sure you will go beyond this near perfect film and it is only a glimpse of what you can really do and hope to do in the future.

As for the sound problem, plug in some headphones and you get great sound and the music doesn't drown out the voice overs...just wanted to give my 2 cents to other critics. You had no source of income and found ways around different scenes with minimal resources and I salute you for that.

Finally, my few inside jokes:
*Good job on football...keep it up.
*During the time you have been making the film, you have gone from a Jelly Bean to a James Bond mobile, you have gone from bench warmer to number 1 wide out, and you have gone from sweaty palms to the ladies' man.
*Now, all you have to do is graduate.
*Can we find the out takes with a more obligatory gay Sith (yellow face paint?)?
*I am glad I could be the voice over of a fat man.
*If you release any out takes, you must show Taha getting punch in the face with a gun and Allen (stuntman/walking death) breaking his spinal cord and walking away from it.
*How you still kept a plot consistent enough (for me) to follow over a 2 year period astonishes me.

Take care man and I am sorry if I said too much. You got some hype for this awesome movie and I give you much kudos.

Later,

JSF

LOL, thanks man. For those curious, PadawanFacey did have a small roll in the film: One night, while taking a break from Age of Kings, he recorded the *other* voice for the vocal debate in the Senate.

He also did one stand in for Darth Rann, wearing a yellow hood and face paint. Fortunantly for him that escaped my blooper reel, as the original footage is missing. ;-)

Hey guys, that was kick! I dug it! Great story! I totally got that they werent sith, so dont worry to much there wink . The fights wrere cool, cept the Soontah/Jedi one which just looked cheesy.

I didnt realise that Soontah was lookin for him. In those opening shots i thought he was feeling the life flow of the plane. He seemed (to me) to be enjoying all the fauna! heheh

One shot that I LOVED was the Jedi getting Force thrown by Raan. I almsot wish the white cloud hadnt been there so I could have seen it clearer. It was real nice happy

The casual dialogue bugged me a little bit too. Most of it, I can see your reasonign for, but Raan should have been a wee bit more formal, and the 'putz' line was just to Earthy.

Like others I had a wee bit of trouble here and there with the sound, but not enough to really bother me.

If I was gonna really be bummed about one things its the footage in the credits. i had no IDEA what that was! I watched it twice, and gathered that Soontah and the Jedi were talking, and that There was some night mission thing going on, but thats about it. My interpritation was that the shadowy force taking people down was a flashback of Soontahs, but why it was happenign was beyond me.

Anyway, overall it was a great film! Kudos to all involved! happy

I don't remember ever breaking my spinal cord. I think I would too. happy Nice to hear from you. We HAVE to play another football game real soon. Rally the troops.

Oh, and I'm NOT walking death. Sometimes I'm a walking calamity, but not walking death.

I was hoping for something more than just painted cinder block. Real world logic would state that grain-storage would be pretty spartan, but with Star Wars things are usually more elaborate than they probably should be.

Of course, fan-fiilms are made on a budget so I can see how this would complicate things. But this one little detail kind of bugs me a bit.
