My response to what you guys were talking about is this: Invision looks much nicer than ProBoards, but ProBoards is much easier to use. I like them both, as the original SWRP was on ProBoards. But, I've grown to like the new Invision version.

Ah, thank yees.
They won't be open for a while, though... not until we can get through with another move from Proboards... Invision Free really killed our forum back in October.

Oh, I know how that feels. Over a year ago, I helped move my site from Proboards to Invisionfree. It's a lot to do.

But the most annoying thing about moving boards, imo, is trying to recreate the color scheme on an entirely different... way, I guess. Proboards lays everything out for you, while Invision Free and phpbb give you a really weird form to decipher. Once you get the hang of it, it's really easy, but it's not pretty at all in the beginning... ugh.
We literally died as soon as we moved to Invision Free, and I'm worried it's going to be the case when we move again. Hopefully, it won't be that way this time, cause Hailboards is teh kewl. I love it.  That is, if we ever do get to move...

I'm wondering if I should move right away to Hailboards. The worries are that the forum will die again if we move, but I don't think so. It's not exactly active right now anyways...

What I did when my site changed, was link to one site in my profile, and I left a link in my signature. Then on my old site, I posted the link for the new location. It took a couple of months until the new place was active enough before I thought to shut down the old location. It worked though.
