Master Joy's Jedi Academy

Even though the academy is the star of my forums,
there are other forums.
Welcom: This is where the rules can be found, and there's a pillow fight thread there too. You can also meet the Staff.
The academy has a Jedi temple, boys and girls dorm threads,
a Bear Clan training center, padawan training center, lightsaber combat training center, Padawan, Knight, and Master and Council dueling threads, and a meditation chamber.
There is a Missions board, a website forum, and so much more!

I cannot view the site, apparantly because I am a guest and not a member. I think the banner needs some work. The starfield of the background works, but I think you should go for a more original and creative banner than just two lightsabers crashing.

To add to what bac said...
I'm not going to register at a site simply to see what is there, especially when I know there are dozens of other sites that already fulfill my needs. Make the forums viewable to guests. That also will help search engines crawl your site and link to the various threads and forums.
As for the banner, at larger resolutions, there are giant gray boxes to the sides of it, and it does not flow as nicely with the background as it does on lower resolutions.

Thank you all for your constructive criticism.
Someone else made the banner for me due to my lack of sight.
I'll talk with the staaff and other members about the banner and get their opinions.

That banner is my horrible creation. We've tried to get others, but not since I've been there has it ever gotten made. And I agree with YodaJeff.

I don't know if I can make my forums biewable to guests. I tried, but it didn't work.
Maybe I didn't adjust the right things.

A quick search says you should change the following setting to make it viewable to guests:
Admin -> General Settings -> Guests Must Login -> Set to No.

Actually, guests can view the forums now.
It looks like they can post too - I'm not familiar with proboards, so I'm not sure if there's a setting to disable that part or not.

You had all the categories allowing access to only specific member groups. Once that was removed, all guests can see the boards.
You can disable Guest Posting in the Posting Restrictions section of the Create/Modify Board Section.
