New Everything About Star Wars Fan Site Forum

Greeting JCF and Fellow Star Wars fans.
I'm in the process of making a everything about Star Wars Forum..
With things like a Star wars Film Making board for Rotoscoping and CG effects,and a board for the science of Star wars and possible lightsabers or plasma sword technology advances.
Also boards on Star wars video games,fan films,books and comics,the future of Star wars on TV and many many other Star Wars topics (props ect)...
So if you have anything to contribute in any of these category's please stop by and share you knowledge.

Honestly, you are starting out with way too many categories and way too many forums. There already are a half dozen really good "everything about Star Wars" forums out there, and it will be extremely hard to get your site to stand out amongst them, especially since it is hosted at a free webhost.
Also, six forums just for Master Replicas discussion - including two for the ForceFX series alone - is way too much. Not even collecting-specific websites such as Rebelscum need six forums for MR discussion. That could easily be contained in, at most, one forum, or even a few threads in one forum.

I agree.
You don't want your board to be too busy, it becomes overwhelming to potential members and to current members.
And Proboards is a good free message board system. I've been using it for years and I prefer it over most other boards.
It's a start, to say the least.  good luck with it.

Yeah, combine all of the Master Replica boards into just one or two. Also, instead of having a board for every Star Wars film you should just have two: The Prequel Trilogy and The Classic Trilogy.

I am finding all the animations there annoying... It is making the site take an immense amount of time to load. I wonder how someone on a 56k would be able to even go to that site...
I also do agree with the others that you need to cut down on your forums. Having too many when you start not only overwhelms your members, it also makes you appear a lot less active. You see, quite a few of your forums only have one topic in them. Members will see that and say, "Man, this place is really inactive..."

Yes, the animations are annoying. No popular sites have that many large animated gifs, and there's a good reason for that.

Ok I got rid of most of the animations,does this look any better?

I took your advice and put all the Master replicas stuff on one Master replicas board.
