I'd love to get some feedback on it and here what could be improved. It's just the basic design, hence why there is no articles, buttons, etc.

A few of your background images are repeating on the right hand side - that's an easy fix though. Overall I like the "classic" look of the old SW.com and it gets better with each visit.

I've added the most recent designs that have been given to me by the designer, Mike Jones. We're thinking of allowing site readers/viewers to decide which design they want. If that doesn't happen, then it will probably just randomly rotate, except for the main page. Each design will also have about five databank entries that will rotate where the image of Tom Welling of Luke Skywalker is now. For example, the Kal'Shabbol design might have an entry about Kal'Shabbol, Ussej Padric Bac and the Ashlan Civil War.

The backgrounds are reminiscent of the old starwars.com web site. I agree. It's a design that I miss. I really enjoy the touch of
the Luke image. It's like he's over looking everything.
