LDU/LZM,
The R2D2 Projector is listing at $2,799.95 and the Web Cam at $369.95, some places are already sold out. It doesn't ship until June.
I didn't feel the quake but woke up about 5:50am with the dog and cat jumping in my bed. Maybe they felt it???
Glad there were no injuries.
One of the hazards of living in the Midwest. But it does not outweigh the benefits. By the time FEMA gets to a Midwest disaster, we already have most of it cleaned up.
Well, I've got to go. I'm late for my Gun Club meeting at the Church.

@DU!!!
Go on and 'Kling' you Midwesterner you...
The wonder of living in Cali is that by the time FEMA gets here...we're all dead, see, coz we'll have gone from Blade Runner to Planet of the Apes overnight!!! Heck...we're half-way there on a normal basis as it is!
Not to worry, though. The ImporDent Elite people, those in San Fran Freako especially, will be A-OK! Yessiree! They'll have already gotten wind of California's impending doom and be on a flight to Hawaii before you can bat a hanging chad!!! That's all that matters really...that Meathead be safe!
Whoops...I must be getting 'Bitter' again.
----------
Only $2,799.95 for R2! That's not bad. Now I know what to spend my Tax Rebate on to stimulate the economy.
I'll get on the waiting list....
-----------
LZM...do you think Lord Sidious would look better with a facelift?

Speaking of Star Wars collectors stuff my cousin has the most insane amount of stuff. He has two full life statues of Vader and Sidious (Ala ROTJ) and a shed load of Lightsabers. He has all the FX sabers, Including Yoda's and all the saber hilts that have been relesed. Inculding signiture editions of Luke's ep5 saber which is personal signed to my cousin by mark hameil himself and he has the same for the mace windu one.
But to get on the with the r2 chat, my cousin had a full life remote control R2-D2, it projects the Leia hollogram as well. He had it delivered from holland.

DarthUndie: $2, 800 for those SW goodies???? I'm a poor SW fan. The most I can afford is a book here and there.
I'll save my money when GL introduces a working Naboo/Nubian yacht. That's more my style.

LDU:....hmmm a facelift for PruneFace? Why would he want such - trying to impress someone? I'll look forward to the day you write a post including a face lift for Palpatine!!!
* * * * *
MP: Your cuz is a rich fellow! Quite a collection he has!!!
What about a working lightsaber - I'd like one of those!!!!

LZM...I will need you to work on a physics project for me.
We need a phased particle plasma beam that is contained within an electromagnetic envelope. If broken, the electromagnetic envelope will have to interact with the substrate in such a way so as to keep the particle alignment in the plasma stream vertical so that you don't have an uncontained plasma explosion upon interaction. The beam must have sufficient strength to bore through at least a tungston case hardened steel alloy of 1 inch thick, if not a titanium substrate of 1/4 inch in thickness.
Would you get on that please? Thank you.
Oh yes...and can you get all that to work on 2 D sized batteries housed in a steel shaft? That's a good girl.
