I don't know the other series (I'm German you know, we don't get everything here tongue ) but I can tell you why I've seen every episode of The OC



The story isn't all new but it simply worked on me. The crash kid Ryan is given shelter by a rich upper class family. He has to get used to the upper class gated community of southern California, the new private school and the girls of this community.
I think it's pretty entertaining to see how much Ryan trys to stay different and hold on to his Chino manners at first and later tries to fit in. And how he slowly discovers that everyone tries to keep up the glamorous appearance to cover bitter family dramas. Also the Ryan/Marissa drama was prezty entertaining during the first and second season.

My fav character is Summer Roberts. At first I didn't like her at all but her character has gone through some major changes during the three seasons that I now have to say she is the one I like the most of the regular cast.
But I'm always hoping for Ana to appear. She is totally the kind of person I'd like to friend with. tongue

So now, who is going to summ One Tree Hill up for me?
Is it worth to try and get the DVDs?
