What is up with the south? I am trying to find some fans here in Mississippi and I have come to the grim decision that we here in the south suck when it comes to Star Wars and collecting. Not just Star Wars, but comics, other figures, cards and gaming. We do not never ever get cons, shows or events. I have a group I hang out with and I will put them and myself up there with the best of them on collecting and knowledge. But surely there is more than us 8 down here. I want to hear from everyone on this. Any ideas or suggestions?

Well I'll just comment on the two things wrong with your post and why I would not be interested in being in a group with you. Perhaps you're just irritated and it reflects in your post, but your attitude about how things are going seems really negative.
1. You've just decided an entire region sucks because you haven't been able to find anyone yet to play Star Wars with yet.
2. You seem pretty excited about showing off your knowledge of Star Wars and collecting against the best, as if you're gonna get a prize for doing so. Fan Force is not about comparing your knowledge against each other or trying to show off your collecting prowess like some sort of badge of honor. It is about sharing your love for Star Wars with like-minded people and trying to positive about it- not about rating our fandom against each other.
That being said, go put out some flyers and try to be patient about the whole thing.

Hi! I see you've already found the Mississippi board. The Memphis FanForce is active, as well as our cohorts in the ArkanSith FanForce. The South does rise to SW fandom and we'd be happy to meet up with you anytime.
