...whenever someone mentions a US state you think about which FF region it's in
...you are used to have people around you to talk SW with even in real life
...you don't get embarrassed when running around in public dressed out as your favourite character, since there's usually a bunch of other people doing it as well
...someone mentions trouble with the post office and your reply is "at least it didn't get stuck in Wales"
OK, so I'm not coming up with any more at the moment, so now it's your turn to post more reasons...

...you have to explain why you are going to meet people from all over the world in a foreign city and how you get to know them and you can't just answer it with "It's a FF meeting, I met them at the FF boards.".
