Right now I'm not very well, I have a cold and I'm rather annoyed, because it means I will miss all the Walpurgis celebration on last of April... the biggest party day here in Uppsala where I live, when everyone goes out have a lot of fun, singing and lighting bonfires and having a good time. Bah.
Camilla, I *think* Berg told me it would come to Denmark as well, but I'm not really sure... he got to know it from some guy in 501st if I recall correctly. (It was at a party, there were drinks, I can't remember everything said there! )
Now excuse me, I have to go blow my nose again. *sniff*

A mist appears in the air...
One get's the distinct feeling that something strange is going on...
Thunder is heard far away.
A shape starts forming in the mist. Walking closer...
The humanoid figure carries a saber powered on... but something strange about that saber.. It's dark.
There was only one person before, that had such a dark saber. But that person is long gone, disappeared, nobody knows to where...
But indeed, as the figure approaches and more details become visible. There is no space for mistake.
It is him, comming back from the shadows of unknown.
He approaches, sees is whereabouts, smiles and turns off his saber.
"Hello, can i join the party?" he asks with satisfaction.

I see some familiar faces! Hello everyone!
Cindy, congratulations!!!! That's lovely!
Hello, WhiteHorse! I guess it's been a while since you posted, but everyone is welcome here! I haven't been here for about two years ( ), but I used to be a very involved member... this place was always my favorite! And I see that you made the main banner - I love it! I made a banner that was used in the FanFiction section for a while once, so I know how fun that is! Welcome!
There is some news in my life at the moment... first, I am currently in New York City for a few days with Ginger_Jedi and Angel5000. We're on a week-long road trip, which pretty much pales in comparison to the month-long road trip we took last summer - we drove from North Carolina to California and back (in a circle, so we didn't backtrack), which ended up being 8,124 miles (13,074km)! It was beyond amazing. I often think of all of you when we're together (me, Ginger, and Angel), since we got to know each other through the JC years ago. And second, I'm going to Sydney, Australia to live and study for 6 months in two weeks! It's my last semester of university, and I'll be at the University of Sydney! I'm very excited about that, obviously!
Leave it to me to post a fairly long post after not posting for two years. It's wonderful to "see" you all!

Wow! It has been a while since I've seen you the last time on the boards, Laura. Glad that you come back.
Studying in Sydney must be really great! Will you do some pics for us?
A road trip lasting one month? Pretty cool. What have you done during that time? And what are your plans for this week? Please, greet Ginger and Angel from us, will you?
Have a nice road-trip again!

Thanks, Sabine! It's great to see you! Whenever I get together with Ginger and Angel I always think of the JC, so I decided to stop by...
I will definitely share many photos from Sydney! I'm going to make an album for them after I arrive and actually have some photos to share, and when I've done that I'll share the link!
On our month-long trip to California we did LOTS of stuff! Highlights included the Grand Canyon, Hollywood/Los Angeles, Disneyland, San Francisco, Mount Rushmore... it was absolutely amazing! I have an album of photos online from that trip, and I will post the link soon (once I have the photos from this week's trip up too!) if anyone is interested. This week we've done Williamsburg/Jamestown, Virginia (where the first British colony in North America was) and Baltimore, as well as all of the normal New York City stuff like the Statue of Liberty, etc. It's been great so far - tomorrow we're stopping in Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, which is where they signed both the US Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution, and then we're carrying on to Washington DC for the 4th of July/Independence Day.
Also, Ginger and Angel say hi!

Mhm... I think you have to get together more often - so we can enjoy your posts a bit more often.
That's good! I'm looking forward to it and to your opinion, if Sydney/Australia is like you imagined it.
You're doing lots of stuff. Are there any times for eating or sleeping?
Great plans and places! Enjoy your trip and the 4th of July.

Hi people! Wow Laura, that seems like a really great trip... I wish I could go on something like that! (I am currently rather broke so I can't afford going anywhere really... but then, I don't mind just being at home either, just taking it easy.) I'm glad that you had a good time.
Me, I had a bit too good a time last Friday. Went to a lake with some friends, and it was sunny and warm and absolutely wonderful. With one drawback. I managed to burn one of my thighs (isn't that rather silly? Burning ONE thigh and not the other?) so now it hurts like you wouldn't believe and pretty much means I can't wear trousers 'cause it hurts too much, and now the weather has turned cold again. Oh well. I hope the redness and stiffness of the skin will go down soon.

That reminds me what I managed to do...
When I was at a lake, lying in the sun and watching my skin so it won't get sunburnt, I manage to get a good sunburn (various parts) as well. It wasn't too bad when I drove home, but the next day I had an long lasting test-interview for a job and the sunburn got heavier by that time. So one cheek, yep, just one cheek was really read and the other one normal. So I had to put on a bit more powder on the left side than the right side and it looked ok in the end. But when the interview ended and I got my results, the tester told me that he took my read cheek for being nervous. The problem is that I wasn't really nervous - at least not that nervous that I would get such a red color.

That would be great!
Any plans for the week? I'm thinking of going swimming today. I need some sport, since my usual sport got cut down due to summer holidays (no diving training in school holiday).
