It would make sense, since it looks like a lot of FF Europe will be in one place, at one time. I am sure FF-UK will be happy to play hosts to that if the rest of Europe is happy too

Lovely new forum!!
Sad that there isn't much to talk about yet
We could start a few wild guesses on which weekend of july CE will be held. The last july weekend is always Comic Con weekend but I don't know how much effects this us europeans...
I think it's pretty wierd that they didn't announce a date yet... it's a bit like "oh right, there is another celebration in europe" isn't it??
But I'll stop complaining because I'm so going to be there no matter when and how!!
And I think it would be nice to combine CE with the FFEM. But as uni doesn't end till the end of july in Germany I hope I can make it without missing exams

Would be a good idea to combine it. I hope that I can attend to both.

This is just brillaint news, it's about time the home of Star Wars had a proper convention. But the question is, apart from the usual British guests we get at cons around the country every year, what other guests are going to be gracing these shores?
Rick McCallum?
Ewan McGreggor
The Flannelled One?
Why not, if Star Wars has earned $20 billion since 1977, a fair chunk must have come from these islands, and across Europe. And it's not as if GL hasn't spent a few combined years over here making his trilogies.
This people, has made my year. And I'll put a link onto Lightsabre for folks to come and chat about it too.

I would think Jeremy Bulloch would be at it as he lives in the UK. That's assuming he is free as he does quite a few shows. And I'd love to see Tem Morrison make an appearance. I met him last year at Collectormania.
